I wanted a small blender to make my morning smoothie and this looked like it would do the trick. I read some reviews and it seemed like it would be powerful enough, especially since I don't use ice cubes in my smoothies, just frozen fruit. Well - besides smelling like it was burning up on the first use, it just wasn't powerful enough. Eventually it made my smoothie, but I had to stir it 3 or 4 times to get it to move the fruit around and chop it up. I returned it and will continue looking for a better option.

This tiny little blender does what it's supposed to! I was a bit worried that it would "burn out" like others have said, but keep in mind that it's tiny. You can't just throw in huge chunks of food and big ice cubes and expect it to work the way a large blender would. If you must use ice cubes, I highly recommend buying an ice cube tray made for mini ice cubes. Anyway, I have had no problem with it burning out. I use the mini cubes, and put small chunks of fruit in it to make my smoothies and shakes. Works like a charm, and at a great price!

If you are looking for something to make a smoothie every morning, this is NOT the item for you! The size and price are right, but the quality is nowhere near! Used it one time and nearly blew up the motor! No ice involved, just frozen fruit. Save yourself the trouble and invest in a Magic Bullet if you're looking for a personal smoothie maker. It will far outlast the money you invest!

I have had this blender for 3 years using it to puree foods for my husband after having a stroke. I now use it for my smothies every morning!
I use 1 cup of frozen berries (blue berries or cranberries) plus other ingredients and have a perfect breakfast each am. The frozen berries act as the ice we need. There has not been a problem with this blender at any time and I am about to purchase one for my daughters in law soon..

Best purchase yet! Great for smooties....just make sure you put enough liquid so you don't make the motior work to hard. I purchased it in red before anyone had reviewed it taking a chance on it. The blade is attached to the plastic cup but it makes for easy cleaning so I don't mind. I had bought a larger blender with a detachable blade and it you don't line things up right....gave it away. I would recomend this to anyone who like to make their own smooties from frozen fruit.

I love this blender. I make a smoothie every morning. It doesn't do well with frozen fruit but no problem. I just put the fruit in it to defrost a bit while I get ready, then add some liquid and turn it on and it's ready to go with me. When I referred others to this product they can no longer find it at the store and have to order online and pay more for shipping. Hopefully they will be in the stores again soon.
