At work blender January 27, 2006 Reviewer:  A. Foerster Real Name (abilene, tx United States)  See all my reviews >

Great little blender. I bought this blender to keep at work to mix my diet/protein shakes - as I was tired of drinking them lumpy. It does a fantastic job and fits neatly in my file cabinet when I'm done. At night, I take the top portion home and refill it with milk and bring it back with me the next day. The top has measurements as well as a sealed lid for transport. Only got 4 stars due to a slight burning smell it exhibits when mixing - but I love it! Use it daily. Don't know how good it would do on anything heavier - or say ice...

I love this blender... October 27, 2006 Reviewer:  Country Gurl "Kate" (Pinole, CA, USA)  See all my reviews >

About 15 weeks ago, I started a weight loss program where I needed to drink 5 shakes a day. Well, it was no pleasant at first, I could not make them a shake at work, because I could not bring a blender to work... UNTILL, I found this little guy. It is great... It is not to loud, It works fast and it works great with ice... The only thing is that it does have a funny smell if used to long, but I found that if you pulse it in the begining to break the ice and then pulse till it is blended then hold for about 30 seconds, the smell is not as bad...
I would recommend this to anyone!!!

Amazing Power October 29, 2007 Reviewer:  Jadzi See all my reviews >

I was looking for a small blender that could sit on the counter for mixing up breakfast smoothies and frozen coffee drinks. I read all the reviews here that claimed this blender was powerful enough to crush ice and frozen fruit and though I was still very sceptical I decided to buy the blender and give it a try. Needless to say all the reviews were correct. This blender is as powerful or more powerful than my full sized machine. It blended whole frozen strawberries quickly and easily. Ice proved no trouble at all for this powerhouse. My full-sized blender never gets the ice as finely crushed as this Hamilton Beech product does. I highly recommend this product.

Only lasted 3 months June 20, 2008 Reviewer:  Emily H. Colvin "ATL Girl" Real Name (Atlanta, GA)  See all my reviews >

I love to make smoothies with frozen fruit. This blender couldn't take it and died after 3 months of daily use. I did like the extra lid for travelthough. If you are someone that uses ice or frozen fruit in your smoothies don't buy this model.

Perfect Mini Blender July 31, 2007 Reviewer:  TMN See all my reviews >

I purchased this blender back in September of 2006, its now July 2007. I have had no problems with it. I keep it at work to make my protein shakes. Protein mix, water, ice and even sometimes add some frozen bananas. This blender does a great job of mixing everything. It chops through the ice. Its the perfect "single serve" blender.

Replaced my Magic Bullet with this product.. May 29, 2009 Reviewer:  '60's car lover "Andy K" (Chicago, IL, USA)  See all my reviews >

I had used a Magic Bullet for a 1-1/2 years. But due to the push-down operation that often doesn't align and properly engage with the rotating gear in the base, the rubber gear in the blade-cap wears away with time (not to mention the bits of smelly burnt rubber). And I didn't want all those extra mugs. Trying to reorder the blade/cap was frustrating, so I decided to research a replacement blender online, and bought the Hamilton Beach Personal Blender.

After 3 weeks of use I am very impressed with this product!

I usually make a blueberry/strawberry/banana/orange juice/plain yogurt smoothie every other day by filling the mug the night before, put in the refrigerator, and blend in the morning. The Hamilton Beach is a very efficient blender.

I leave it on my small kitchen counter as it is a very simple, slim, attractive design, and takes up less space than my discarded Magic Bullet. It is also considerably quieter!

The blades are built into the bottom of the nice lucite cup, not a separate screw-off cap. This makes prep and clean-up much faster and less fussier than the screw-on cap-blades of the Bullet and other models. Insert and twist-lock your cup-filled ingredients, thumb-press the well-positioned soft pulse-button to blend. Twist off the cup, slide back the drink-hole cover on the travel lid (or drink at home without the lid) and sip away.

A superior product at a very reasonable price!

Love it Protein shakes made easy May 11, 2009 Reviewer:  Protein Drinker "David Q" (Ohio)  See all my reviews >

I wouldn't know what I would do without this. It makes drinking Protein shakes a breeze so I am able to rock the shakes constantly because of ease of use. I resort to eating protein shakes when i'm hungry because its easier than cooking and cleaning is simple as well. Just squirt a lil dish soap in fill with water and blend it up and the blender pretty much cleans itself, rinse and rack and your all done ready for the next protein shake.

It works! April 5, 2009 Reviewer:  selena (Los Angeles, CA)  See all my reviews >

This tiny little blender does what it's supposed to! I was a bit worried that it would "burn out" like others have said, but keep in mind that it's tiny. You can't just throw in huge chunks of food and big ice cubes and expect it to work the way a large blender would. If you must use ice cubes, I highly recommend buying an ice cube tray made for mini ice cubes. Anyway, I have had no problem with it burning out. I use the mini cubes, and put small chunks of fruit in it to make my smoothies and shakes. Works like a charm, and at a great price!
