perfect game for the family November 20, 2008 Reviewer:  bill (El Paso, Texas)  See all my reviews >

We are still talking (and laughing) about it! We had 8 adults and 4 kids playing and had a riot! From the moment we took out the first card (THINGS you shouldn't tie to the roof of your car) everyone was laughing just thinking about what to write. Once we read out what was written we were rolling on the floor with laughter. Because you have to guess who wrote what it was so cool to see how some of us were throwing people off by writing strange things or something that was like someone else. This increased the hilarity but also made it fun to guess. Things will be a big part of all our family functions from now on!

I have never, ever, laughed so much playing a game.
We played last night with 10 people and at one point
everyone was lying on the floor crying they were laughing
so hard.

it's pretty blah November 11, 2008 Reviewer:  Linda Key (athens, GA)  See all my reviews >

being a board game collector, i received this game as a gift from a family member. we played this game immediately in the big family, and i think everyone thought the game was quite, blah. we honestly only played it that one time and no one ever wanted to play it again. that's 2 years ago.

well, the game works like this: a card is drawn and a person reads it aloud. the card usually has a simple question. then everyone write down their answers, the reader reads them aloud and everyone has to guess who wrote what. this is all find and dandy, but there's a few problems with the game. first of all, after a few rounds, everyone was able to guess correctly, at least in the group we played. second of all, the rule says clearly that the answer could be anything, and does not have to have anything to do with the question whatsoever. that made reading the question seem a bit pointless. considering all the different types of board games that are out there, i do not recommend this game.

What fun! June 17, 2009 Reviewer:  Barbie Ross "barbie8697" Real Name (Texas)  See all my reviews >

This game is great for a big group of people. It can really be played by anyone in the same age group. It's perfect for a close group of people who THINK they know each other soooo well! These questions are purposefully subjective - your answers can be dirty or logical and you're friends and family will have to guess which you thought of. We couldn't stop playing - seriously. If you're a games person, you will love it.

Everyone is a comedian January 3, 2009 Reviewer:  BR (Toronto, ON)  See all my reviews >

The topics on the cards are like a straight man giving you a setup to deliver a punch line - so everyone has a chance to be a comedian. Like - "Things not to tell your mother." It just makes you think of funny things to say. Like Balderdash, sometimes you end up not caring about winning and just want to make everyone laugh - previous answers start becoming running jokes, which just make it funnier, even if they don't quite apply to the new topic. Some of these lines have lived on, so when we see each other, we just have to say the line to break out again.

EVERY family NEEDS this game! September 30, 2009 Reviewer:  Newlyweds "Rachel B" (Iowa)  See all my reviews >

A sort of DIY twist on Apples to Apples. My family has played A2A before and I found it somewhat boring. My husband and I registered for this as a wedding gift and it has quickly become our favorite game. It differs from A2A because each person gets to write their own response to a statement... you have to read the rules to understand what I'm saying, but you can take the game in any direction. There isn't a whole lot of educational value to this game, but it does make you think! We played with family the other night, but we are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to play with my girlfriends. The bigger the group the more fun; 6-10 is probably best. I would STRONGLY encourage the reader to write each person's response on a community whiteboard as it can take a while when people keep forgetting the responses (again you'd have to read the rules). I NEVER take the time to write reviews for anything... THINGS... is a game that's review worthy!

more fun than I anticipated September 25, 2009 Reviewer:  chewygoodness See all my reviews >

With a good group of people this can be very entertaining! The games don't take too long to finish and the scoring system is a little whack...but if you play just for laughs it's great!
