I don't know what you people are talking about saying this straightener isn't good. I think it is awesome. I love the color and the lights. Now, some people might complain because the dial is on the side and it sometimes changes while you are straightening your hair. There is a really easy solution to that. TURN THE STRAIGHTENER OVER! The only thing that isnt that great is it doesn't stand flat on the counter top, but there is a safe guard on the side so it won't burn the counter. I think this straightener is awesome and it makes my hair super soft. Plus I don't have to cake on the hair spray. If you don't want to pay that much, you can get it cheaper at [another retailer] for like [..].

I've had this straightener for almost two years now and it works just like new! This is also after using it every day at the hottest sitting and dropping it a few times. I have yet to have any problems with it. It gets super hot, very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I have extremely curly hair and this straightener definitely gets the job done.

I bought this straightener in April and I loved it. It's now June and the other day it started blinking and then a day later it just stopped heating up. I was so mad because the warranty is for 3 years and it took 2 months to break. I'm sending it back to the company as soon as possible. Worst straightener I've ever had.

I recently broke my old flat iron, I saw this cheap and thought why not, Bed Head has great products. My daughter has very curly hair, and this could not stand up to the job. I felt it did not get hot enough...no where near the 400 degrees it says it does. Also I felt that is left her hair rough. Most flat irons leave a silky smooth texture. I would not recommend this product. I have returned it and am looking for a replacement.

This is the best straightener I've had in a long time. The bed head 1" straightener is the best straightener. It made my hair soft and silky the very first time I used it. It also eliminated the frizz you would usually get with other straighteners. With the plates it does not pull at my hair and it allows my hair to move as other straighteners wouldn't give your hair much flexibility. I have medium length extremely thick and wavy hair and this straightener tames my hair without damaging it. I would recommend this straightener to other people. :D

I have thick, natrually wavy hair that is shoulder length.
When my hair was shorter this straightner worked perfectly it would take a longer time as soon as it grew a little bit but I would expect that. Recently I plugged in this straightner and all of a sudden I heard a popping noise and sizzling and my straightner started smoking. My whole room stunk for days. I returned this straightner and found the 2" bed head light me up straightner and bought it. I love bed head products but don't reccomend this one for people with thick/long hair. I don't know if it was just my hair straightner that had a shortage or something but my room still smells, hopefully the 2" light me up bed hair straigtner will be easier to use and won't smoke...

I have naturally straight, but knotty blonde hair. I started using this straightener about a week ago and at first it did not work as well because I did not set the heat at a high enough temperature, but now it works great! It is expensive, but is definatly worth the money!

Not worth the Money I spent on this straighteners. I had high expectations for it as a Bed Head brand. Sure its pretty and all...but if your hair is mid back length, healthy and semi wavy this straightener doesn't straighten your hair as well as you'd like it to. My previous straightener that I bought at Sally's worked a lot better but it broke =( I took this straightener back and got the Rock Star Bed Head... I've tested it out on a small piece of hair and so far I like it... instant heat right away.
