I was pleasantly surprised when the headboard came. It looked better in person than it did in the picture. I was reluctant to buy a piece of furniture that I had never seen, and the picture was not very flattering. However, I had the dresser and lingerie chest. So when there was free shipping on the headboard, I decided to take a chance. I had a little trouble getting it on the bed frame. Other than that, I'm quite satisfied.

I bought this set a year ago for my unborn child's room, I liked the look of it and it matched the color of a crib I had. I wanted the set to go with a crib and as he got older, I would take the crib away and add the bed. That's not going to happen now. The first turn off was that the furniture all required a lot of assembling. A LOT of assembling!! I'm very good at putting things together but this was ridiculous, it took me HOURS to put the dresser together! The pieces didn't even have the decorative molding on them, you had to put it on yourself. It was a lot of work. It's now one year later and the dresser drawers are very flimsy. I am the only person who opens and closes the drawers so I know that I haven't mis-treated the furniture so there is no reason for them to be so loose. The drawers no longer slide out evenly and the drawer faces constantly need re-tightening. The mirror has been on the wall for a year and the frame is coming apart. I don't even touch the mirror and it's coming apart! The mirror came in one piece and did not need any assembling. I've had the set for one year and I'm am ready to find a better set and give this one away. This set is very cheap and not worth it. Don't waste your money, keep shopping.

The headboard shipped really fast and is of good quality. It looks great in person and is the perfect size if you have a small room. The only complaint is that it did not come with the pieces to attach the headboard to the frame. I had to go to another store and buy four screws and nuts. That's annoying when you already spend so much on a quality headboard. Otherwise I'm real pleased.
