My mother purchased this system for my daughter for Christmas last year. It was so cute, but we were immediately disappointed once we opened the box. First off, it didn't come with a power cord. What kind of electronic device doesn't come with a power cord? Once we finally purchased one, we realized that the sound quality was terrible. Plus, the disc skipped every time someone bumped it, which was every two seconds. Plus, when we tried to get our money back, we were only offered a few dollars. I can't believe Target still carries this terrible piece of junk.

We bought the Hello Kitty CD Karaoke System for my daughter for Christmas. Christmas morning we put batteries in it and it would not read any of our CD's including brand new ones. We returned it and ordered another one from Target.com and when we received our second Hello Kitty CD Karaoke System it would not turn on at all. After reading more reviews on another website, I found this is more the rule than an exceptional circumstance. It is very cute. Too bad it does not work.... Please do not buy one.

The sound is low and you cannot hear yourself sing through the speaker. For the price the quality should be better. I returned it and thinking of buying my granddaughter a karaoke system that isn't just for kids.

My daughter received this as a gift for her 7th birthday. Imagine the excitement of 7 little girls anxiously waiting to belt out tunes from High School Musical. The excitement quickly turned to disappointment when the machine just didn't work. We put batteries in and the lights did come on, but the CD player would not spin. I did not have an opportunity to read the reviews until after the party, but I know that when this goes back to Target, something different will be coming home with us. Please save you children the disappointment and the adults the frustration of dealing with this expensive plastic piece of junk.
