Both my mother and I are experienced seamtresses. My mother got this machine for my 7 yr. old daughter for Christmas. She was so excited about spending some quality time with her granddaughter, teaching her how to sew. My daughter read the entire instruction book and was ready to for grandma to start teaching her to sew. They made 5-6 stitches and it jammed. After a couple of attempts and several attempts at rethreading the machine.....nothing but frustration and upset.
We will be returning this machine.
