I got about 8 of these for pantry storage. I keep pasta, grits, granola bars and that type of thing in them. They are very practical, because you can see what's inside the jars. While there isn't a plastic seal on the lid, I haven't had a problem with spoilage. Only downside is it was a little pricey to get all I needed for my pantry, but it looks great and is super organized.

I bought these jars and another set at Sam's that were not Anchor Hocking The set from Sam's was a lot more expensive. I am getting more of the Anchor Hocking jars and taking the ones back to Sam's. The Sam's set had air bubbles and tiny fractures visable in the glass. The Anchor Hocking jars are sturdy, heavy glass well suited for kitchen storage.

I bought two of the medium size jars and leave them on my counter top. My kitchen is retro/pastel theme, so I filled them up with a bunch of colorful candy and left them on the counter. Not only are they great for storage, they make the kitchen light up with more color!

I decided to use the middle sized ones for individual punch containers at my wedding reception-it was a really cool way to add some color to the tables and guests didnt have to keep getting up to get their drinks, they just ladled it directly into their cups. The people I had for punch pourers just came around periodically to fill them up. Then after the wedding I put recipes and ingredients for punches and sun teas in them and I gave the 17 of them away to family that had helped out in the wedding. Very inexpensive and unique gifts!
