nice looking piece January 1, 2009 Reviewer:  jser "jser" (usa)  See all my reviews >

I bought this online last year and have been happy with it since. It was difficult to put together and the stickers that cover the nail holes don't last which is why I didn't give it the full 5 stars. It does look great however and we actually use it as a stand for our flat screen tv.

Overpriced October 9, 2008 Reviewer:  S. Sheffield "Lil Bit" Real Name (Hampton, VA)  See all my reviews >

I ordered this bookcase and received it today. It took me 15-20 minutes to put it together and it looks pretty nice once its put together. However, I do believe that its overpriced. The cam locks don't tighten like they should (just like other reviewers said). The cross beam underneath the bookcase that's there to help to keep it square and sturdy fell off when I pushed the bookcase about 1/2 inch. It is very lightweight and easy to move; which is a good thing for petite people like me. Other than that, its serving its purpose for the time being. I wouldn't put any heavy objects on it though.

Great Price! July 29, 2009 Reviewer:  PharmD (Madison, WI)  See all my reviews >

Got 2 of these and put them together as a media console. Looks great! Easy to put together, good price. I did have one problem with the pieces not fitting together on one spot though.

Worth the Work!! December 12, 2008 Reviewer:  Purse Freak "Jules" (Sacramento, CA United States)  See all my reviews >

It is a fabulous piece!! It looks great and is very sturdy. I bought 2 to sit next to each other under the tv w/ wall mount. It looks very nice and modern.
We read all the reviews and was a little leary to purchase, but so glad we did.
Per my husband: It was easily prepared. The parts were misnumbered and some of the stickers fell off so pay attention to the prints. Pay attention to the cam bolt height and you should really have no problems. Add a little bead of glue to all the joints to help keep stable.

Semi-Happy November 6, 2008 Reviewer:  Brenda J. Richardson Real Name See all my reviews >

Okay, so before I purchased this item I read all the reviews and thought it can't be that bad. Well, the directions leave a lot to be desired as do the markings on the pieces. It's hard to tell on the inside inserts top from bottom and, as noted in other reviews, the camlocks don't tighten. I must say that the unit is really stunning ONCE put together though and, at least mine, seems to be pretty sturdy.

Great bookcase! October 12, 2008 Reviewer:  Happy buyer (Topeka, KS)  See all my reviews >

My teen daughter and I put this together pretty easily. The cam locks could have worked a little easier but all in all it went together fine and we love it! It is beautiful and is a great contemporary accent for her room. We added a couple baskets to the compartments and it not only is functional but looks great!

great piece October 1, 2008 Reviewer:  baby John1 (Miami, FL)  See all my reviews >

Delivery was prompt and the bookcase was easy to assemble, took about half an hour and a little help from a butter knife. It is a little wobbly but not enough to be a problem. The stickers for the cam holes were a bit cheesy but hardly noticeable. The color is a bit darker than the photo, but it fits wonderfully with the rest of my decor. Great buy, and my very first from Target.com

Great Piece! September 28, 2008 Reviewer:  Valerie (Jersey City, NJ)  See all my reviews >

After vacillating for a few days due to some of the negative reviews, I decided to buy this piece. I am glad I did! It came very quickly also - I ordered on Wed, and it was delivered the following Monday! It it sturdier than it looks in the photo and I was impressed with the quality relative to the price. I had no problems with assembly, did it myself in about 1 hr. The only thing I would say to be careful of is not to screw the bolts for the camlocks in too much - then the camlocks won't "lock". I made that mistake on the first joint, so the camlock there isn't tight, but other than that, it came together really well....one joint isn't going to ruin the piece. I learned my lesson. Hope this helps others that are on the fence.

terrible assembly design August 20, 2008 Reviewer:  mbRay See all my reviews >

I have a newfound appreciation for the brilliance of [another retailer's] furniture and assembly instruction designers. Have the manufacturers of this unit "Design2Go" ever really tried to put this together? Cam locks, cam dowels, wood dowels, glue,...and then stickers? cheezy! We finally successfully got it together. Hope it lasts. Don't buy this.

Great for Storing Games; Hard to assemble July 1, 2009 Reviewer:  Southern Mom See all my reviews >

APPEARANCE: We purchased two of these pieces to sit side by side against a wall in our family room. They look great and they are just the open shelving that I was looking for to store several board games. Standard game boxes fit nicely in the cubbies. ASSEMBLY: This would be a five star item if the pieces had fit together easier. Some of the pre-drilled holes did not match up correctly, and before it was over I was banging the top on with a hammer to try and get rid of a gap. Also, a few of the camlocks won't stay in their holes. I usually enjoy assembling furniture, but not this one. OVERALL: A nice look, great spot to store games, but hard to put together.
