Light bulb went out and lamp quit working after 110 days December 7, 2007 Reviewer:  Unhappy Lamp (Missouri)  See all my reviews >

After receiving a replacement due to improper manufacturing, the lamp worked great for 110 days. When the light bulb (100 watt as paperwork said to use even though it is a 3-way touch lamp) blew, we replaced the light bulb (100 watt), it no longer works unless you manually plug it into the electric outlet. So it is "on" when you plug in and "off" when you unplug. No 3-way! Due to a 90 day return policy, it cannot be returned. I was told to contact the manufacturer (which I no longer have the single sheet of paper that came with the lamp!) I have just spend $150 for 110 days of light.

We've had the floor model for over a year and have had no problems at all. We love the substantial look and weight of the lamp - comparable to much more expensive lamps seen elsewhere. The touch sensor feature has worked well. The only glitch is that sometimes when we turn on a wall switch for another item, this lamp turns on also! Quirky, but no big deal. We recently purchased the table model.
