Amazing Dust Remover

The need for dusting has virtually disappeared in the bedroom. These Holmes air filters come with a sponge type screen to catch the big dust, and then the HEPA filter to catch the microscopic dust and allergens. It is a very quiet piece of equipment on the low setting, and medium noise on the high setting. I had one of those permanent HEPA filter purifiers, and those just don't work as well as these with the replaceable filters. Seriously, this purifier does the trick. I wake up without being all stuffy or sneezy, which lessens the effect of my allergies during the day. Don't waste your money on those high end 199.99 models, this will do the trick for severe allergy sufferers during these rough economic times!!!

I purchased one to use in my computer room to get rid of the dust build up around my pc and have only had it for 4-5 days and what a dfference it has made. If I had to do it all again I would definetly purchase the hap242. You can't beat the cost considering how well it works. I'm going to get another for my living Room. Very satified!!!

My bedroom is about 300 square feet. I had terrible allergies at night. I've had this for about a month and I run it all night blowing towards the bed and it's done wonders. I'm really impressed but I think I need to change the filter (about 15 bucks). I don't know if that "ionizer" function really works but overall the machine has been awesome.

I don't know much about air purifiers and was basically searching for one based on price and came across this one in the store. I'm constantly dealing with allergy issues and migraines. Being pregnant I thought a purifier would be beneficial. Got this one and am super happy with it! It's pretty quiet if it's set on a lower setting,I don't wake up with a stuffy nose anymore, and I haven't gotten a headache since I put it in my room. I have a large dog that spends alot of her time in my room so it smells like dog all the time...since putting the purifier in my room I haven't noticed the smell nearly as much. I'm adding this product to my baby registry for sure!

I wanted to purchase this product from previous reviews. I went to the Target website. They have buttons for either purchasing it online, or in store. From previous reviews I have seen, Target isnt the best place to buy online, as returns are a major hassle. I was thinking that I might purchase about 5 of these units for bedrooms. While I am trusting most of the positive feedback, the negative feedback has me concerned with purchasing 5 online at the same time, and then not being satisfied. If I at least bought the first one from the store, and it wasnt up to satisfaction, I could return it immediately and search for something else. From the inventory on their website for this product, it read limited availability. I called my local Target thinking I would purchase one from the store, and see how well I liked it, but before going, I wanted to make sure they had at least one as it was limited availability. When I called the young man looked it up for me, and it was [..]more. I asked why and he said he didnt know, when he asked his manager she said, stores and online prices do not have to match. I thought that odd, when on the website it had the 2 buttons to choose, either buy online or see if it was in local store. I called corporate customer service, and asked why and she said the same thing. Im sorry we dont match prices. (???) But its your own website and store, not anyone else's. Then she said well it must be cheaper on the website because they are giving you free shipping. I said but isnt that backwards? If you give us free shipping, shouldnt it be cheaper in the store? (kind of comical actually) I thought it a bit backwards, and her explaination a bit screwy. She then said she had no idea why it wasnt the same price, and really not sure about why they did that the way they did, she just knew that they didnt match prices. SO IF THATS NOT ONLY A RED FLAG, BUT BELLS AND WHISTLES ABOUT BUYING A LARGE OR MAJOR PURCHASE ONLINE FROM TARGET, I DONT KNOW WHAT IS. Buyer beware, make sure you know what to expect before you MAKE a large purchase online. Reviews about online returns are true.

Do you know the feeling you get when something catches your eye in a store, so you bring it home only to discover the product was all sizzle and no steak? Well, I must admit, my experience with this device was pretty much the exact opposite.
The box: relatively small. The "sizzle" of the packaging: pleasant yet understated. Affordability: great!
With a cat in the house, a litter box in the main living area, and a fierce dislike for foul odors, what attracted me to the air-purifier section of the store was the *idea* of having cleaner air, and the reason I was drawn to this specific product was its unimposing size and cost. We wanted something unnoticeable, yet affordable in case the investment was a bad one.
At night I removed this purifier from the packaging, plugged it in, set the fan to medium, turned the ionizer on, then I went to bed.
The next morning I couldn't believe my nose! The difference was incredible. It reminded me of our most recent vacation to the mountains of Georgia...the air smelled that good...that clean!
I plan to buy more of this exact product for other rooms in the house, including the garage. This, in my opinion, is a MUST buy!

I wish I would have bought this great little machine years ago. I smoke, and this purifier sucks all the smoke and smell right out of the air! I love this thing! It is a little noisy when on the highest setting, but so worth every penny! I highly recommend.

I recently purchased this product to place in my daughter's nursery for white noise as well as to promote air circulation and filtration. It does that job perfectly. On the "high" setting, the white noise is perfect for sleeping. On the lower settings, the sound is minimal-to-nonexistant. It is a good size for a nursery, where space can be an issue, and the ability to place it upright is a plus. All in all, just what I needed for the job at a good price!

I am glad that I purchased this item for my babies nursery. Being a small room (about 250 sq ft) it has the perfect space to purify the air. It has an ionizer, which is also very nice to have, and this is one item I am looking forward to using for a long time. So far, so great! Very reasonably priced and easy to find at any target store. Glad I purchased and would recommend this to anyone wanting to filter the air in their room.
