I just took a moment to read other peoples reviews of this blanket. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t the only one that was having problems. I love this blanket. It is soft and comfy. It doesn’t shift at night. The green I bought is the perfect color for our bedroom. BUT, it sheds everywhere. I was hoping that it would get better with time, but it is to the point that I can’t get dressed next to it or I will be covered with fuzz. I tried a different brand from another store first and had the same problem. I was hoping that the one I bought from Target would be different. It is as bad or worse. I too washed it according to directions. The amount of fuzz that came off it is amazing. I tried shaking it out outside. Now my backyard is full of little fuzzballs. I will give up on microplush blankets and try a different one. The odd part is that we have a plush throw that we got at Target several years ago and have had NO problems with it, even after washing

This blanket (king, ivory) shed all over my house. A total mess and a waste of time and $$. Can you give something less than one star?

I wash everything in hot water. I washed it once and I woke up looking like I slept in an alley behind a wool factory.

I washed these blankets in hot water three times more and
the shedding is minimal. I use a lint mitt to get the few
fuzzies I find from time to time, but I'm going back to get
two more (I have 3). They are just so soft and warm I don't want any other blankets. You can put a heavy cotton blanket on top and that holds in the heat even more.

So, if your willing to rough them up a bit they are worth it.

This was a gift for a friend's bridal shower. She couldnt gush enough about how soft and loveable this blanket is. Definitely want one myself now!

The blanket is warm and soft,even after a couple of washes. I really don't like the shedding it does..I have the red one. My local store is out of them. Will buy again for the warmth and softness.

I bought this for my son, and now I want one for myself. It's so soft and comfy. It's good quality and I know it will be the new favorite around the house.

i made the mistake of buying two of these blankets. they are quite possibly the worst blankets i have ever purchased. there is fuzz all over the house despite the fact that i followed the washing instructions, and the fact that they have been washed three times. i am going to throw them away. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

I purchased this blanket in the store. I couldn't believe I spent [...] on it, but I thought it was worth it...until I washed it. It shed and pilled everywhere! There are fuzzies all over my house, on me, on my husband, on my cats! I washed it exactly like it said, I tried again today, thinking it was just because it was new...it's even worse now. I'm going to have to get rid of it, what a mess.

We didn't seem to have the problem with the fuzz and shedding that everybody else seemed to have. These are a great weight and are oh soooo soft. I am planning on buying this for my girls for Xmas.. because they are fighting over who gets quiet time in mama's room because of this blanket.
