These Hoover canister vacuums are great, but heed the warning. Once you run out of the few bags that the vacuum comes with, good luck! The replacement bags are impossible to find in any store. I have searched every store within a 100 mile radius from my home and there isn't any place that carries them. You can order them online at the company's website, but the shipping and handling costs more than the package of bags. So once you have purchased a few packages of bags and paid the shipping and handling charges, you might as well just go buy a brand new vacuum cleaner. The cleaner does work great. It is light weight and easy to maneuver, but due to the unavailability of the bags I couldn't give it a very high rating. I would advise before you buy any new vacuum make sure you can find the replacement bags at a store in your area, else your defeating the purpose of buying a new vacuum.

I've had my vacuum for 1 year now and I'm still in love with it. It's great having the 3 levels of suction. This design makes it very easy to switch from one chore to another. When the filter needs to be cleaned the lights blink at you. No guessing with this one. I was very shocked at how much it picks up. Unlike most bagless vacuums I was surprised at the small amount of loose dirt that comes flying out when you empty the canister. Cleaning the home is not a chore anymore!

I love this vacuum because it works on both and is easy to change from one to the other--you can't use the beater brush on the hardwood and it's no problem with this one to change. love it!

This vaccuum works great. Has incredible suction. It is BAGGLESS! No bags needed! Makes the carpets look great. It is light and easy to maneauver.

My wife used this vacuum and loved it. But the motor burned out on December 23, which forced me to trek out and get a new vacuum. It was not fun and I wish it would have stayed working.

This vac comes in two models. One has bags and one does not check to see which Model # you have and go to a vac store for bags

i bought this vac mainly for our downstairs (hardwood and tile floors)........i sucks up dirt pretty good even in corners and crevices!.......it vacuums carpeting ok (the longer the carpet the more difficult it is to vacuum of course).......we use our oreck upstairs and this one for the downstairs and all is good.........i love the fact that you just push a button, pull the dirt canister out and empty it........couldn't get any more user friendly!......overall good price and great on the floors!!

Don’t buy this vacuum cleaner. It has a fatal flaw in its design. This is a great vacuum cleaner ... so long as it works. When it is working it is the best canister on the market... But, I have bought 2 of them within the last 2 years and neither lasted a year without needing repair (impossible) or hose replacement. The problem is that after a while the powerhead stops working due to poor wiring in the hose. A replacement hose for this vacuum cleaner, when available (not always available). That is over half the cost of a new unit on sale. According to the repair people, the hose problem is very common on this model. I was very careful to return my second unit back to the store within the 90 day return period as the hose on it had already begin to intermittently fail.
