I have recently received this sofa to complete my collection of Hudson furniture and I was suprised to find that this, like all the others, requires some assembly. (hardly any assembly at all though so don't panic, it was just surprising to see a box arrive at my door step instead of a shrink wrapped sofa.)

The couch looks wonderful and it is enough to seat 4 petite people or 3 larger people comfortably. (It is an intermediate size between love seat and sofa.)

It fits wonderfully in my new apartment which is small.

However the color of the actual sofa is not at all a light beige color like you see online... its a darker khaki color and the colors are striated due to the multiple different khaki colors which make up the material. However the color is still pleasing and matches the rest of the Hudson collection.

I have no complaints at all with this sofa other than the fact that the seats are a lot firmer than I had imagined. However I have never purchased a sofa before and it might just need to be broken in and I think it may be a little pricier than it should have been -but with the discount and the free shipping it may be an appropriate price.

Note for the consumer: If you do purchase the couch the legs must be assembled and they are hidden in a compartment at the back of the upper sofa piece, nestled behind velcro. *( <- this will save you the trouble of calling target and asking for replacement parts.) Also the product was delivered straight to my door which is very convenient.

Nice design, but notice the length of this "sofa" is only 62" whereas a normal sofa is anywhere from 74" to 84". The photo can be very deceiving as to the scale of this piece, therefore the height and depth of the sofa is also considerably less than it appears.

I like Target's furniture and have several outdoor pieces. This sofa was a huge mistake.
--It's uncomfortable in several ways: too short, too shallow to sit with your feet on the floor, and not long enough to lay on.

I may never buy a piece of furniture online again. If I can save one person from buying this turkey by writing this review it will have been worth it. Don't be fooled by the handsome appearance.

Not a bad looking sofa, but this is really really uncomfortable to sit in. I don't mind the firmness of the seat cushion, but the back of the sofa falls at an angle that feels awful on your back. Would make a good set piece for a play or possibly in a room where you don't do much sitting, but this is definitely not a "curl up in it and enjoy a book" type piece of furniture. After just two days of sitting in it, I have back pain, and it creaks and moves when more than one person sits on it. For this price (I had no discount) you are better off buying a longer-lasting and more comfortable sofa for just a little bit more money. Think twice before ordering, as the return process is very confusing and expensive (you can't return it to a store, and have to pay a shipping company to send it back.)

i bought this sofa and the 2 hudson tufted chairs. the set looks great but the cushioning is very hard. i've had the set for 2 weeks now and am hoping with some wear, the cushioning will soften some. my husband and i prefer firm sofas but these are much harder than we would have liked.

I was looking for a small sofa for my son's TV room and this is perfect! It is a good color to go with almost anything and with a couple of throw pillows it makes a very cozy couch. It was very easy to put together - I did it myself in about 30 minutes. Hint - the hardware is hidden in the back of the couch behind the cloth - it opens up. Great buy for the price!

We've been looking for a couch with a small frame for our very small living room and this was the perfect fit! Very easy to put together and a great neutral color. It is a bit stiff, but it's in our living room, not family room so we don't mind. To top it off, a great price and free shipping!

The sofa is smaller than I thought it would be. Almost like my whole living room swallows it up. It would probably look nicer in a smaller room but mines kinda makes the sofa look miniature. So make sure you measure the dimensions of the room and of the sofa so you can know how much room it will take up. It is firm and the back and arms are hard but a few nice throw pillows can fix that. It will have to do for now though, I needed sumthing in the living room that guests could sit down on. The sofa is nice to look at and decent enough for someone on a budget..

NOTE* The legs and screws are hidden behind the backing of the sofa* (I didn't realize it till after I asked for a replacement, then had to call them back to cancel..lol)
