Broken in less than 2 months!

Reviewer:  Crazy for Purple  (Montgomery, AL, USA)  See all my reviews

I bought this chair because the Washington Post billed it as the best little office chair around. It was for the 1st month, then it started shedding bolts which wouldn't stay in. Finally, 2 days ago, the base cracked and it is not repairable. I have to say this chair had the shortest life-span of any home computer chair, on which I've ever wasted my money. I've since become a much more consumer aware chair buyer. Chairs that have less than 5 support rollers are simply unstable and prone to breakage. Buyer would be much better off saving their money ahd buying a professional office chair from a manufacturer such as Steelcase, Hon, or Herman Miller because they guarantee their structural components FOREVER!

Not as bright as shown!

Reviewer:  Interior Designer  See all my reviews

Be warned, the apple green chair is not nearly as bright as they show it in the picture. The pastic parts are neon, but the fabric is very blah. I don't even know if this is a comfy chair or not cause as soon as I opened the box and saw the color, I sent it right back!

Good chair!

Reviewer:  Target Customer "Lauren"  (South Dakota, USA)  See all my reviews

When my old chair bummed out on me, a new one was purchased. I originally didn't like this chair, because of the arm rests. Because of them, my chair can't be pushed in. (My desk has the pull out keyboard thing; I forget what it's called.) Now I LOVE the arm rests. It's nice to be able to rest my arms somewhere, much more comfortable than, say, my old chair.

It's very comfortable, not too soft, not too hard. It's very easy to adjust the height. The only complaint I have is that whenever I move against the back, it makes a LOUD squeaking sound. It gets annoying after a while, but hey, at least the back of the chair moves!

I don't have the purple color, I have the green color, but I love how the green is colored. It's not too bright, not too suttle.

LOVE THIS CHAIR! Definitely reccommend it.

A Chair that Pleases Most!

Reviewer:  websurfer16  See all my reviews

After researching everywhere to find a desk chair for my room that stood out, and wasn't cheap looking (it didn't fall apart after a month), I finally found the I-Chair. This chair looks exactly like the picture above, it is sturdy, and very, very comfortable. The purple color is just right for my vibrantly colored room too, and the price is very reasonable.

Only two cons:
1) the chair didn't come with directions but is pretty self explanitory
2) there was a misshap with my order and I somehow ended up with the E-Chair instead of I-Chair at first

Overall though, the chair did come through and I am very satisfied!

Pretty Purple Chair Pleases A Picky Princess

Reviewer:  Sherri Pinkney "Be A Pioneer!"  (Neptune, NJ)  See all my reviews

Real Name

This purple chair is the perfect grape purple..not too blue, not too pink. Easy to assemble, rolls well over my purple shag carpet (yes, you heard correctly) and the reclining seat back and plump seat cushion are very comfortable. Chair arms will roll under a 30" high desk. The above picture of chair may seem two different shades of purple, but it isn't; the arms and fabric back are truly the same color (arms being true color). You will definitely be pleased...and the friends will love it, too!

Fun, comfortable chair

Reviewer:  Pennsylvania Mom  (Philadelphia PA USA)  See all my reviews

Chair back and bottom are neon pink (perfect for a 15 year old girl's room--she and her friends just love it!) but very comfortable, substantial and sturdy. We chose not to attach the arm rests so that the chair could be pushed in under my daughter's desk. Upholstery had a black, greasy mark on it which makes me think the chair was returned merchandise
