We have had much success with infantino products and find them to be really well made and a great value which I appreciate with all our expenses. It shows right on box it does not cover sides, so not sure why other reviewers were disappointed! I like that it keeps our little one busy and covers up all those yucky carts out there. We also plan to use it for our newborn when she gets older as a tummy time mat - so it really is two products in one.

This doesn't cover the sides in the shopping cart. My 9 month old always leans over and mouths the sides of the cart. Sort of defeats the purpose of using a cover. I've seen covers that actually cover all sides in a shopping cart, I wish I'd bought one of those.

I was very disappointed with this product. It wouldn't stay in place on the shopping cart and my baby kept grabbing the sides of the shopping cart because it didn't cover the sides. I wish I had bought the eddie bauer one it was the same price. Unfortunately, my husband had torn the tags off of it so I couldn't return it. Overall a useless product and a waste of money.

I bought this for my 7 mo. old and just with her simple movements while shopping, this item slid all around and didn't stay in place at all. There are no sides to it so she could lean over and reach the unprotected sides of the cart. Probably would be better just as a tummy time playmat.

Our youngest son just graduated out of his carseat, so I purchased this last weekend in hopes of avoiding the higher costs of other seat covers. I knew it didn't cover the sides of the cart, but it had other good qualities, so I ignored the poor reviews and tried it anyway. I used it once and found myself packing it up and taking it right back. It was easy to put on the cart and I did do it with one hand while holding him. It attached to a standard grocery cart well, but as soon as I set him in it, he reached over to the hard, exposed metal and started chewing! I couldn't interest him in the toys much and they do pop right off. The strap works well, but is difficult to thread through the cart then the layers of fabric then around him. It rolled up fairly compactly and was easy to carry in and out of the store, but it really didn't accomplish much. I have a padded strap (since most cart straps are broken anyway) and a separate cloth/velcro cart handle cover that I had with one of our older kids, so I plan to use those on longer store trips and just put a blanket in to cover the sides of the cart. Otherwise I may just carry him in my baby carrier and forget putting him in the cart altogether! We were optimistic and gave it a shot, but can't recommend it.

I just bought this item within the past week and unfortunately will be returning it. I think the pattern is really cute but there is just simply not enough coverage. The sides of the shopping cart were still totally exposed and my son will suck on anything he can get a hold of. I need to be sure I am covering as much of the cart as possible! I just ordered another cart cover online last night and should be receiving it later this week...hopefully that one will be the winner!

I bought this when I forgot my Floppy Seat in the other car. I put it on the highchair and it only covers the front and back, but not the side! What is the point then? Kids still put their hands on the side of the chair, so they will still pick up germs. I returned it and I always make sure to have my other one with me.

This hardly covers anything and won't stay in place even when you get it attached to the shopping cart. Not worth the money and I would not recommend to other moms.

When I bought this I thought it was better than the one by Eddie Bauer but I was mistaken. I bought this for my daughter when she was just 4 months old. I didn't realize that this cover barely covered anything at all. Also she got bored with the toys so i have been switching out the toys. And it's so hard to keep it coving what it does. It's always slipping and moving. Also another thing that bugs me is that i had to remove the "safety" belt. seeing as it didn't do anything to keep her sitting up when she was 4 months. I just use the cart's belt to keep her in. Also another flaw. It's not very padded, it's not very comfy. When she gets tired she can't put her head to the side on down in front of her. In my opinion, forget that it has toys on it, get the Eddie Bauer one, just add some of your own toys to it. It's such a better buy.

This product contains Microban, an antibacterial product woven into the threads of cover (also known as Triclosan). Bad germs can be washed out with soap and water but Microban prides itself on not being able to be washed out.
We were terribly disappointed that this was not a part of the product description. I would not have added this to my registry had I known that it contains this chemical.
Some areas of concern about Microban include: development of resistant organisms, possible carcinogenic properties, suspected conversion by sunlight into dioxin, and production of chloroform in contact with water. Not something that I want around my child.
