I got this flat iron as a christmas present. I love it it heats up very fast in like one minute its ready. My hair is VERY curly and I had to go over a strip of hair only twice witch is very big imporvement from my last conair I would defanlitly recomend this flat iron!

I have had a CHI turbo flat iron that I love. However it is getting 'old' and I wanted to get a new one before it stopped working. After purchasing 3 other types of flat irons and returning them...I chose this one. I had done my homework and researched it to read how it worked. I recieved my item a little over a week ago, and I love it! It works fantastic on my hair, which is long, coarse, wavy & thick. After using it, my hair is soft, sleek looking, frizz free and straight. I would highly reccomend this item! Great product!

Well I have been straightening my hair for the last 10 years and I have purchased several hair irons. My most recent purchase before this item was the Maxi Glide by Maxius and brought 2 because after a year they short out, so $ badly spent for two years. And I came across this item for about [.....]and went to target and purchased it . The same day i used it for less then 10 minutes it work ok. But deal ladies the real was when I went to the night club that Saturday I straightened my hair and went dancing til 4am and you know what my hair was still straight and frizz free. Now ladies u know you go to the club your hair gets frizzy, smelly tec.. due to the atmosphere , but I woke up the next morning and my hair was still looking great. I am [...]so long black frizzy curly hair this item tame. Also for those African America ladies , my daughter is mixed and i used this on her hair and it looks great, no frizz and now she can for the first time wear her hair down to school with out me worrying about her hair getting frizzy when she comes home. I wish I can show pictures of how great this item works, and I am not one to write reviews on any product.

I first bought the "Bed Head 1" Professional Tourmaline Nano-Ceramic Straightener" and returned it the next day (it pulled out my hair).

I'm pretty happy with this Conair. It works well, and I intend to keep it. What sold me on it is the carrying case which allows you to pack it while still hot, the fact that it does not pull out my hair, and that despite how close the blades are to the edge I have never burned myself.

The straightener is not absolutely amazing but it works well, and I believe its worth the price, especially with the warranty. Just don't buy the Bed Head.

i like this straightener a lot. i had gotten an straightener before, but it was breaking my hair so i returned it and got this one. this however does not straighten as easily as my zoe, it doesnt hurt my hair at all, leaves it nice and straight, has a mat and bag that come with it, and it leaves my hair very silky, smooth, and shiny

I bought this straightener yesterday and i just love it!
I have straghtish hair except the ends, they always flip up! so i bought this straightener because it had such great reviews and now i know why they love it! It makes my hair so shiny and it only takes a few seconds to heat up, I usually takes me only 5 minutes to straighten my hair with this straightener. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a quality straightener for a more reasonable than the expensive CHI straighteners.

I absolutely love this flat iron! I have tried EVERY brand of flat iron there it... CHI, HAI, Rusk, hot tools, Corioliss, HerStyler, etc. I was skeptical to purchase a conair but I have to admit, I liked the way it looked. I just figured, what could it hurt? If I didn't like it, I can just return it if I didn't like it. I am so glad I bought it because it is the best flat iron I have ever used! It makes my hair shiny, soft, and so straight! I am attending cosmetology school and 2 of my classmates have already purchased it and both my sisters! KUDOS to CONAIR for making a great product!

i would not recommend this straightener to any of my friends. it does an alright job, but i expected way better results. i can't count how many times this thing has burned me. i would recommend a sedu or a baby bliss hair straightener over this garbage. i have used both of those and had way better results and they are not that much more expensive than this one. this is a waste of money. i'm disappointed.
