I followed everyone elses directions and got this a size larger for the bust area, and even though I am 5'9, the dress seemed a bit too long, kind of an awkward lenght, way past the knee, yet still to high above the ankle, so I sent it to the tailors to be trimmed slightly below the knee and with the extra fabric I'll make a scarf or matching purse. I love the dress, its beautiful and so versatile. Would have given it 5 stars if I didnt have to have it altered.

I don't seem to have the same probs raised! It is at midcalf & I'm 5ft5. I'm 34D & top of dress fits perfect. Waist fits great too-not snug nor tight. The skirt does have loads of fabric but that's the charm ya? Love the pockets! :o)

I've always loved this dress because I love the madras, bright print and then I love it even more when it went on sale. That was- until I tried it on. I am 5'9" so the length wasn't a problem ( I agree with other reviewers that it is really just for taller girls) but the problem was my chest was no where near fitting in the top! Bummer. And the dress fit everywhere else but there. I wear a D cup, but still! No room at all! The dress looked amazing on my younger sis who is 5' 10" and really skinny w/ a small chest. She is actually going to wear it as my maid of honor for my beach wedding next month. At least it worked for one of us!

I got this dress online a couple of weeks ago for $45. I see the sale is over now, but it's still worth it. The straps are definitely adjustable and even though I had to have it shortened, I am recommending it completely. I am 5'2" 120 pounds & got a 4, which fits perfectly except for the length.

I initially saw this dress in a fashion magazine and loved it. After looking at the caption, I was shocked to find it was a Target dress. I ordered it and love it. Luckily, I am small chested, if I weren't the dress would be too small. It is a good iidea to buy this one size larger. It looks great on. I wore it on acruise, got lots of compliments.

I discovered this dress while walking through Target. It fit me beautifully and I am a perfect size 12. The colors brought out my dark skin tone wonderfully and can also bring out the glow of fresh tanned skin. I would suggest this dress for a formal evening affair if matched with the right accessories and strappy heels or a dressy causal outside event(ie: a beach wedding or garden party).

The chest is too small, even a size up from my normal size, and I'm a B-cup. I could order a larger size still, but I don't think that would solve the problem because of the way the dress is cut. My chest would not fit into this dress. Other than that, I love the colors and the style of the dress, but the chest really needs to be a bit more generous. There is not enough material there to have it altered in the chest.

Ok, first off, if you are looking for a sexy, slinky dress (or even a "show off your bangin' body" dress) this is NOT that dress. The skirt is VERY gathered around the hemline and is cut much like the 50s-60s style dresses. I am 5'11" and 140 pounds, usually a size 8. Often with Isaac I have to buy a size 6 because a lot of his dresses are sized large, but the size 8 fit me really well. I have a small C cup and I was able to wear this dress even without a bra as the structure of the bodice is very supportive. The cut of the bodice looks very tailored and the seams all match up perfectly, which makes it look like a VERY expensive dress. The fabric is a beautiful raw silk with very vibrant colors. The only thing I would say for shorter people is that the length of this dress might be a problem. i have a fairly long torso and very long legs (I'm 5'11") and the hemline stopped a few inches below my knees. If you are between 5'5" and 5'8", this dress will probably hit you at the widest part of yoru calf and look weird. If you are shorter, it would hit lower and might look better, but as a long, ankle-skimming dress. If you are willing to hem it (or don't have a problem witth that kind of length) then it is WELL worth the money!

I have been looking for a dress for my daughters Florida beach wedding next April and found exactly what I wanted in this dress. The colors will match the bridal party and it is not too formal. I am 4'11" and am not intimidated by the length - it's nearly to my ankles but still looks nice.
The colors in the photo don't do it justice - it is better in person. I also love the fabric- the silk gives it the formality that will work for a wedding. I found some Mizrahi hot pink suede mules ( on sale ) that match it perfectly.
I can't wait to wear this dress.

I tried this dress on in the store and was utterly
disgusted. The straps were not adjustable and the
top "fell off". I'm 5 foot tall and was expecting
the dress to be rather long, but this dress was beyond
long.
However, the print and the colors were amazing,
I wish they would have sized it better.
