I am in shape now and currently training for a duathlon and I thought this DVD would be great as a supplement workout for me. I have noticed after my 3rd day that my stomach was becoming flatter and my 6 pack was becoming more defined. My arms are also wiggling less and tightening up. As for this being a supplement, I have toned down my other routine to keep up with this one! I sweat a lot during this DVD, but LOVE it! You must push yourself to see results, just as she says. And remember, the harder you work, the quicker you will change your body, push yourself to your breaking point and you won't regret it!

I am 23 and do pilates 2x a week and usually run 2-3 miles 3x a week. So i'd like to think i'm fairly in shape. Well so i thought.
I started this work out about 2 weeks ago with out the use of weights. I quickly realized i had NO upper body strength what so ever. I was sore the next day and be prepared to sweat if you are doing it right and pushing yourself. I began using the weights (3lbs) about a week ago (still on level 1) and could feel the difference.
I just started level 2 this morning and of course it does not get any easier. Jillian helps get you through it and i am never more happy to hear her say "lets relax and stretch now"
Even though i work out, the work outs she gives are work for all types of muscles which is nice. Especially like i said i had no upper body strength. Even in my leges the different variations that she does hits different places.
I know with a healthy diet and the continuation of this program i am sure i will see more of a difference than i already have in just the few short weeks i have been doing this. Can't wait to get an all around toned body!

I love this video! I have purchased may exercise videos in the past and quit after a few days. I look forward to working out with Jillian and push myself through it. Now, I feel like the "Biggest Loser".

i enjoyed this video. i liked that it began "easier" and then had 2 harder workouts. only wish she showed you positions a little better before you began the exercises.

I bought this yesterday and did it right when I got home without the weights and I am sore today in my chest, butt, abs, and quads. This is an intense workout that will get results. The only area that seemed to be missed were triceps and calfs. Next time I will use the weights and see if I feel it more in my arms.
If you need a new workout that doesn't take long get this b/c Jillian will work you hard!

I've had 3 kids and am very out of shape, so the first time I did this exercise video I was VERY sore for 2 days straight. I tried it again after the soreness wore off, however, and am very pleased that I kept going. Like Jillian says, just stay with it and you'll see results. It's been about 3 weeks and I've lost 14 lbs. Stick with it, eat you're 1,200 calories, and it will pay off in the end! Busy Mom's can do this one!

I'm only about 5 days into the dvd, but I can promise you it's a great workout. Just plain hard work. I don't think you can go wrong with this workout video.

If you want to lose weight and tone up fast this is the workout for you!! I worked all of my muscles and am soaked! I'm so glad I purchased this as I have to get in shape for my wedding fast!

I bought the 30 day shred after reading the reviews here online. You never know what you are going to get in a excerise video but after reading all the good reviews on the 30 day shred I thought this one has to be decent. OMG, I did my first level one excerise today and I thought I was going to die. Jillian kicks [...] in this DVD. I don't know if I will ever make it past level one...LOL. Level one is killer. I don't have weights yet and it still kicked my [...] and I couldn't imagine if I had done it with weights. I'm not extremely overweight either. I weigh 120 pounds and hope to lose 10-15 pounds and tone up and let me tell you the 30 day shred will do that for sure. I highly recommend this DVD but don't expect to gradually get into excerising this is the "real deal", Jillian isn't called the toughest trainer for no reason! If you are serious about changing your body, this is it!!

WOW!!!!...I'm on the 1st level, and i stopped twice to catch my breath and get a drink of water...she doesnt want you to stop but it was to intense for the first time using it...I love the dvd!!!
