I bought this for my little guy a year ago for his first birthday, granted he was a little young, but he is now 24 months and still has a hard time manipulating the feed barrels. Especially the one for the pig, you are supposed to turn it, and it is not easy for little hands. The Cow pushes down and he got that one really fast. It does make cute animal sounds and plays old McDonald when you open all of the barn doors. I'd opt for an easier one to function, thought it is cute.

This toy is so cute, the only complaint I have of this toy is that it the little bundels of food that you're supposed to push pull or push forward is hard for my son who is 20 months old to operate. Maybe a kid thats a little older might enjoy this toy a more.

I bought this as a gift for my daughters first birthday and it took her about 6 months to fully learn how to use it. Now she is almost 2 and she loves it, our 18 month old son loves seeing the animals "jump" out the door at him as well!
