I love these boots -- soft, comfortable enough for my slightly wide foot, a little heel but not too high. However, I liked the Journee Microsuede buckle boot a little better, so I decided to return this one. It was an extremely difficult process, which really surprised me.

I had ordered several pairs of boots, got my free shipping and figured I'd keep what I liked and return the rest. Well, the Mossimo boots were a standard return -- very easy, but the Journee boots had problems. The first store I went to tried calling it in but eventually told me I could not return these in the store. Part of the problem, I think, is that the box says "Bamboo" but the receipt says "Journee." Also, unlike the Mossimo boots, there is no tag affixed to the Journee boots. So I get it, how do they know I didn't buy these boots somewhere else and then try to pass them off as a Target.com purchase. So, it requried a call in - it's possible there was a language barrier when my cashier called it in to whomever she had to call for the access code. When I asked for a manager, she told me I couldn't return them there but would have to mail them in (I should have persisted up the chain) - she was flat out wrong. When I got home, I called Target.com -- they told me I could return them in store (the packing slip also says they can be returned at the store).

I tried again at another Target -- I got lucky to have a salesperson who was not confused by the process and he patiently waited on the phone and worked out the issues. This was the hardest, longest Target.com return I've ever made, but it was done. So, don't let it stop you from ordering these in a couple sizes to check fit or a couple of styles to see which you prefer, just know not to expect an easy, peasy 30 second return and don't let them tell you you can't return them at the store! Also, bring your credit card (I leave my on-line shopping card at my computer) -- it used to be you could return at Target and the bar code was enough, not with this return. Not having the card with me made it that much more difficult (I ended up with a gift card which was fine, but it was yet another pain).

I was so exited to get to my store and try these on. However, I was a bit disappointed with all the boots I had my eye on after seeing them in person. This particular boot was big and too sloutchy in the calf. I am tiny but have muscular calves. They were even big on me and that rarely happens. So, for some this will be a plus. Maybe they can slim them up next year. Not bad, but I want to pay the extra and get a real, better looking suede. I will wear them so much it will be worth the $$.

I loved these boots, but will have to make an adjustment to the calf part. If you have skinny legs like I do they "WONT" fit your leg, but I'm going to make a button clasp on them to fit my leg better....hope that helps
