My 10 year old daughter loves these things! She spent about a week putting this one together by herself. I was somewhat surprised when she called me in to see the finished product. It worked just fine and she followed the instructions to a tee. She has put together a few other pieces and they have worked also. I can't wait to get her another one. She really feels a sense of accomplishment when she can show off her finished product and say she did it with no adult assistance :)

My son loves K-nex toys. He has the Spiral Serpent. He got the Double Ferris wheel for his birthday. He put this together, with my help. I always make sure every piece is in it's place. It was fun to put together and he was excited to turn the motors on. Both wheels made one turn around, but each one got FASTER and FASTER UNTIL IT DESTROYED IT'S SELF! Pieces were flying off everywhere! We were both staring in shock! He finished tearing it down, after a huge disapointment. He wanted to keep it anyway. He uses his imagination and builds other stuff. JUST ANOTHER WARNING, THE HORSE CAROUSEL DID THE SAME THING TOO. Big chunk of money wasted! Stick with models that are motorized with chain lifts, they are awesome and very cool!
