I have been waiting for this game for along time, since 2005 E3 expo video. I just bought the game and i was a little worried it would not live to the hype. After playing just a few hours i am SURE that this game is the best FPS (first person shooter) I HAVE EVER played.

First thing you will notice is the graphics, not doubt they put alot of time into this game, the lighting effects alone should get an award. Muzzle flash creates real time shadows and lights up the rooms, particle system is top notch. character animation is very smooth. The Helgast react to bullet the way they should, no just standing there and acting like it doesnt phase em.

The physics engine is also award winning, every object seems to have its own weight and reacts to bullets and explosions perfectly. All of this goes together so perfect to creat this super action packed experience that i have waited for so long.

I recommend this game for anyone who is looking for palm sweating, drymouth, hyper thrill ride through hell torn warzones.

No doubt this is my favorite game.-10/10

When i first got this i thought it would just be over rated game but boy was i wrong the gameplay is great the online is great the graphics r great no lag online and i think it is better than cod4 and cod5

I have played other FPS before but none compare to Killzone 2. It makes Games Like Call Of Duty Look like crap. It is a must have.

Killzone 2 is a great looking game with a solid story, but the meat of the game is in multiplayer. Earning ribbons to unlock badges that will allow you to customize your kits. Unique abilities like a cloaking sniper, air turrets, and being able to disguise yourself a member of the opposing team are a few of the ways that Killzone requires the player to strategize differently than in most of the other FPS franchises. Couple this with a ranking system, 5 different game modes, and PSN download content. Their are many reasons to purchase this game and many more to play it over and over.

Come on guys this game is not that great. The ending was a disapointment and the online multiplayer leaves you saying "Give me back my Call of Duty." The online has very few options and no leveling like call of duty. The game was very short the designers put so much into the graphics and nothing else. They game is still great. The action will suck you in with great graphics. It is still a must have but they need to consider that FPS are big because of games like Halo and Call of Duty that take time to make the multiplayer option a big part of the game.
