I bought this for my nephew for his 5th birthday. Here is a quote from my sister:
"Did I tell you how much [he]loves his present. I am
so proud. I gave him a cupboard in the kitchen right
by our refrigerator...and when we go to the store we
will take his cook book and buy things for him to
make. [He] has his shelves all organized, and then
he took one of the shelves in the fridge and has that
all organized as well. It's really cute and he makes
something almost everynight."
This is a great gift to empower kids and teach them to help out in the kitchen. Cooking runs in our family, and this was an awesome way to pass on the tradition. I definitely recommend it for everyone.

My son is in Grade 2 and just loves helping me in the kitchen - but sometimes I really do not want his help!!! That's when this little kit comes in handy - I can get him all set up at the table with the ingredients and the utensils and then I can start supper.... I can watch from a distance what he is doing and I am there to help him if he needs me - but he can follow along the cookbook pretty good! He calls it the big green or the little green spoon..While he was mixing his creation today, he was chanting Kids in the Kitchen Ya, Kids in the Kitchen Ya!!! Too cute...
