I purchased this cookset in the stores and reall like cooking with it.

The new handles are great and fit in your hand perfectly.
The non-stick surface and clear lids make it so easy to cook. I have used each of the sizes and they all work great!

We got these as a wedding gift almost 2 years ago and have gotten use out of every piece. They are heavy duty. I like the clear lids. They are heavier than other sets. Best to use wooden/plastic utensils with these. Would be easier if they could be put in the dishwasher, but that's alright.

I got this set and a few other pieces for my anniversary. Yes, my anniversary...I was cooking on the same stuff from college 25 years ago, so I told my husband that I wanted a set of "good" pots and pans. These are fantastic and 1/2 the price of a similar Calphalon set at another "famous cooking store". SUPER EASY to clean, food cooks fast because of the even heat. I love the glass lids so I can see things and the lids fit other pieces in the line (ie: the lid on the deep saute pan fits the 10" omlette pan, etc.). I also got the pancake griddle, a bigger deep saute pan, and a 4 qt pot with straining lid as seperate pieces to supplement the set. Love them all!!!! Don't understand the previous 1 star rating from another customer, but to each his own.

These are disgusting... the black lining in the pans flakes off... this happens without doing anything wrong with it... I don't use metal spoons, just wood ones... The black stuff makes my throat scratchy and sore... We have only owned these for 9 months... do not get... should not be FDA approved...

I am slowly collecting other pans/pots that are not in this list but looking at the items included list, it only seems that 11 items are included. I think that the list needs to be updated to include all 13 items.

Obviously you have to be an idoit to not be able to cook an egg properly, but that's a different issue. This pots and pans are wonderful, I'm a cook and LOVE them! As long as you don't mind hand washing them, they are a great investment and will last a long time.

This is a great cookset. We received it as a wedding gift about two years ago. We have used each piece several times over. They heat evenly and are just as good as the other more expensive Calphalon cookware pieces we own. There are two things people need to know before buying these: 1.) They are not dishwasher safe. You need to hand wash and use Bar Keeper's Friend every so often. 2.) Do not use metal or other utensils that can scratch. If you do these two things they will last you a long time and you will be very happy with them.

The instructions state if eggs begin to stick, oil/grease have built up. The first thing I cooked was an egg and it wouldn't come out of the pan. The pan was properly preheated. This is the second set of Hard-Anonized Nonstick I've had and they both do this. The Calphalon One is much better. These are going back ASAP.
