I've had this mixer about 13 years. It is just finally showing signs of dieing. I kept the original box and gave it a look over. It appears at the time my mixer was made, it was done so in America. A new review says they are made in China now. I will have to check this out when I go to Target. If I do buy a new hand mixer, I will also be sure to keep the original beaters. One lady said hers were breaking all the time. I would suggest [..] and see if someone is selling their beaters. As for my mixer, it has outperformed in all my expectations. Previous cheap mixers lasted me one year. This one was worth the extra few dollars.

I received this mixer as a wedding present 10 years ago and it's still just as great as ever! Easy to use and clean! and not too heavy. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to make mixing quick and simple ~ and to get the job done right!

I recently bought this mixer and LOVE it. The slowest speed is slow enough to keep even dry ingredients in the bowl, while the highest speed combines ingredients quickly and with ease. In addition, it has enough power that it even whips cooled truffle filling (nearly solid chocolate) with ease. I just wish that it had more speeds. When I wear this mixer out, I think I'll upgrade to the 6 speed version, but I'm still so happy with this one that I would recommend it to anyone. Happy mixing.

I received this as a wedding gift and was THRILLED! I was mixing everything by hand before this came along and now my muffins don't have lumps! It runs very smoothly and quietly. Cleanup is very easy. Recommended!

This little mixer is the 'Little Engine that Could'!! It is small but works GREAT! I love mine and I have had it for almost 10 years with no problems. Great little appliance. Highly recommend.

This device is sooo slow. It has no purpose to even exist. I used it for a brownie mix...and it almost burned out..it started to make an nagging noise and smoke. Don't waste your money. (thank goodness I didnt, it was a present)

Performs better and has lasted longer than any other hand mixer we've owned. We don't even have a stand mixer any more because it handles everything we throw at it, even tripled batches of Christmas cookies.
