PRODUCT FLAW - COMPANY REFUSES to REIMBURSE $ !!!!!! December 29, 2008 Reviewer:  Lisa J. Doss Real Name See all my reviews >

I had the exact problem as the last consumer. Call the company about the hair line crack that keeps happening even when they send me a new ceramic liner it happens again and again I've been through 3 liners I'm purchasing a new one today cause I'm feed up with dealing with Kitchen Aid, this will cause me to stop purchasing Kitchen Aid products in the future their run around on this problem [made me mad]. the girl on the phone acted like I broke it and had me return the cracked one each time, but I could tell she knew exactly what the problem really was.

Same Problem May 2, 2009 Reviewer:  L. Mouro "Mommy to seven" Real Name (durham, NC United States)  See all my reviews >

I am on my third crock as well, which also cracked. The first one cracked within 10 minutes of using, the second within 10 days and the third within a few weeks. Do not buy this!

not worth the money December 21, 2008 Reviewer:  happy mom "sally m" (massachussetts)  See all my reviews >

I have been through 5 of these crock pots so far, the company is very willing to send me a new one when I call and complain, but every one I have gotten has cracked while cooking, leaving a blackened mess inside the cooking element. I have followed all cooking guidelines (and lived in two different houses) and it still happens. I will be buying a different brand this time.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY !!! July 11, 2009 Reviewer:  LovemySharpei (Indianapolis)  See all my reviews >

We have purchased 2 of the slow cookers. When the first crock "cracked" we simply ordered another. After all, we had used the other one for nearly a year.. right? When my second one arrived, I had it 3 days and it too cracked. I couldn't believe it. I called Kitchen Aid and told them I was on my 2nd purchase the crocked cracked. They told me my "food was too cold" when I placed ii in the slow cooker which caused the crock to crack. They did however replace both broken crocks free of charge (with proof of purchase). BOTH new crocks cracked even though I was very, very careful not to place "cold" food in the crock. For the record, one of the crocks cracked when I simply poured in a can of chili beans. I finally just gave up trying. Don't get me wrong, ... Kitchen Aid has some very nice products, but this is,in my opinion, by far, the worst product they have. They need to take them off the market.

On my second liner February 1, 2009 Reviewer:  Montana Mom "Stephanie S" (Billings,MT)  See all my reviews >

The first liner had a hairline crack and was replaced immediatley. I've had no problems with current liner. Great for large capacity cooking.
