I bought this camera as a Christmas gift to my husband and myself.
I've taken only 50 pictures and I've changed the batteries 5 times! I even used rechargeable batteries! No difference!
Also, in replacing the batteries several times, more times than not, the camera won't turn back on!
This camera is not good for a teenager, unless you are prepared for MANY complaints and don't mind dishing out a fresh pair of double A batteries for every 10 pictures taken.
This is not good for an older adult either, as you cannot retrieve the pictures unless you have the Kodak software.
I have never had an issue with Kodak, in fact, I prefer Kodak; however, DON'T BUY THIS PARTICULAR CAMERA.

Bought the camera on 12/27. Took maybe 2 dozen pictures with it, Went to download the pictures to my laptop and the camera turned itself off. Tried 2 brand new sets of batteries and it still would not power back up. Returned it to another store for a refund yesterday (1/3).

The things should last more than a week.

This camera was the only thing i wanted for christmas and i got it monday i was so happy the camera was working good until this morning the camera wouldnt cut on so i tried everything that i could do.thats s big deal considering your a teen and you bought it with your own money

I brought this for my husband so that he would stop borrowing my camera. He loves this camera. The pictures are excellent quality shots and it takes great action photos as well. I would recommend using a Kodak SD card with this camera.

The only thing I wanted for Xmas was a digital camera, and I had $100, so this was the cheapest one I found. It looked good for the price, as I've read from the reviews. I bought it, took a few pictures, then the next day it wouldn't turn on. I've tried everything, replaced the batteries, reinserted the batteries, etc., but nothing works, so I'm going to have to go return it for a new one. The only thing I'm worried about is if the next one I get will do the same thing?? Then that's about $60 down the drain...which is a lot to a teenager.

Thats the only complaint I have. I gave my old cx7530 to my grandson. Now I wished I had kept it and gave him this one. The camera takes excellent pictures, good quality. The only complaint is no view finder.....

This easy share C813 Kodak is one of the, if not the best digital point and shoot camera of it`s kind, worth every penny. I have had several other brand name cameras, as well as other Kodak easy share cameras, and this C813 measures up with 5 stars, super color, clarity and the user interface, could not be easier. I am very satisfied with my purchase as well as the shipping time from Target, I have never had to return anything to target for any reason. Happy in Massachusetts

THIS IS AN AWESOME PRESENT FOR ANYONE IN YOUR FAMILY!!!! THIS CAMERA HAS A 9 PIX BUILT IN DISC TO SAVE PIX ON!!! AND YOU CAN BUY A REGULAR DISC THAT HOLDS ABOUT 600 PIX ON IT!!!! THIS CAMERA IS EASY TO USE. THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT IS THAT IT DOESN'T HAVE SOUND!!!

i just got this camera , and so far it's okay .
the pictures turn out great and it has a lot of different settings, the videos are good , but you can't hear the sound right afterwards. i like that you can enhance the picture's quality right on the camera , but overall it's a really awesome camera.

I bought this camera 12/20/2008 after I saw its on sale [...] while surfing the internet at 4am. I didnt went back to sleep and literally waited for 8am so i can go to target store early. Fortunately, I am lucky enough to get one!!!! Yay!!!

It's really great camera, no complains yet! its just plain awesome...
