I bought this desk for my son. Finally decided to put it together and talk about a piece of junk. The desk looks great when lying apart in pieces but when you try to put it together it is just not worth it. The 3mm tool for tightening the screws was too big, I had to go and dig around in our tool box for one that worked. Then they wouldn't tighten enough so they were secure. Everything is wobbly. The back bar will only screw on one end. The other one wont no matter what you do. My husband & I both could not get this desk together. My experience with kitsets is now not to get anything with metal. This is the second bad experience [...] NOT a good desk.

This desk is ok, if you just need something to keep your computer/laptop on. I used it to keep my computer on when I would come home from college, for vacations. But if you plan on doing real work at the desk, go for something with more work space. The one good thing about it, is that it can roll and you can move the desk anywhere that you like, with ease. It isn't very difficult to build either. If your in college and have limited space, I highly recommend this desk, everything fits nicely on it, and the bottom is strong enough to hold the CPU.

Very flimsy desk. Purchased one for a micro case, small monitor, keyboard & mouse, there's hardly enough room for the monitor and mouse, no room for the mouse down by the keyboard. Every time I bump it, it rocks from the metal sides and makes me worried the monitor is going to fall off. Avoid if you're using it as more than a laptop stand, unless you're willing to do alot of reinforcing.

I have this same desk and it is great. I have my phone/fax machine, printer and flat screen computer monitor on it and we have moved with it and it is holding up just fine. Maybe you did not put it together very well. My only complaint is that it is a little difficult to use with a laptop but we make it work.

This black kid's computer desk is so-so for everyday use, and it doesn't roll very well on carpet. Also, a flat-screen monitor is a must to have any space at all on the desk for papers, books, etc.

I bought this for a small space so was expecting the small size. However, I've put a lot of furniture together for myself and my kids and this one is NOT easy and very wobbly. No amount of tightening will make this desk sturdy! Also the finish is not particularly sturdy, just vacuuming next to it takes the finish off. Love the black - except for where the white shows through.

This desk was very easy to assemble. It looks just like it does in this picture. The finish does not come off like some people are saying it does, and we never had a problem with it being unsturdy or wobbly. It survived a 15 month old learning to walk and I never felt that she was in danger of being around it(We did not attach the wheels.) We no longer own this desk, and I only gave it three stars because it's just plain ugly. We got it because it was cheap and it did what we needed it to do.. but I absolutely hated the way it looked.

I've had this dest for about 4 years now. Wasn't to bad to put together, and has held up really well and is still sturdy. I have a very small appartment and if fits nicely in the corner of my living room. I did have to buy a book shelf to put near it for storage. All and all Its been well worth the buy.
