I collect legos and this is a prime of my collection. I have built every Star Wars lego set that contains more than 350 pieces including both death stars. This lego set is difficult to build at the beggining because you have to build lots of little gears that make the walker move. When i was doing this i thought I wasn't going to make it work. But it turned out ok. Once it is build you can play with it but be VERY careful. Parts come off pretty easy. Plus it looks great when we have guests.

This was a Birthday Gift for my son.
His review:
This was a very good Star Wars Lego Set to build and it was a challenging Lego. I recommend this to any Star Wars Lego fan.

We bought this for my son's 9th birthday because he is a Star Wars Lego fanatic. He was thrilled with it and we began building it immediately. It took several days to build but when we finally finished, it was worth it. It is my son's favorite Star Wars Lego toy. However, we must have done something wrong because we can only get it to walk backwards.

My son had wanted this toy and for his 5th birthday we ordered it from the Target website. It's a bit overwhelming at first but with some patience and about 8 hours, this toy came together with much anticipation. It is one of his favorite toys!
The walking feature is very true to the real AT-AT but it does trip up and fall down easily if not on a completely flat surface but this toy is worth hours of fun for someone who loves legos!

It got this for my birthday. I have built a lot of LEGOS, including Republic Gunship, Republic Attack Cruiser and now the AT-AT. It's not for the beginner but I was able to complete it in two days.

I sat down for 10 hours straight putting this thing together. It was worth it. When I finished putting the legs and chassis and all the gears together (before putting on the head and side panels, I tested it and it would only walk backwards. Turned out I missed ONE piece. I had to carefully pull it apart to add that missing piece and then continue from there. It works beautifully now.
It's not really for "adventure play" though. The panels like to fall off if you fidget with them too much. Other than that, awesome!
