This lip color is simply amazing! I got the Target Red shade on clearance. It was a perfect true red shade, easy to apply with the precision applicator and it stood up to kisses with the hubby, barbecue dinner, a shower, a night's sleep and normal water-based face wash! Just make sure you have an oil-based make-up remover or it'll never wash off. One word of warning, make sure to get the precision applicator liquid version as the infallible lipstick version is often not labeled differently in the store and really isn't worth a grain of salt. I've tried the [.......]competitors and this is simply the best out there!

I bought this in Crimson, wanting a nice classic red that won't rub off. It certainly doesn't rub off. I'll give it that much. The instructions say to apply a thin layer of color, however, the color goes on pale and unevenly when I do. If I put on more, or a second coat, the lipstick becomes gummy and flakes off. It also dries out the lips dreadfully, like any long-lasting lip color does. The gloss layer is absorbed in minutes, leaving the lips dry again. I guess the search for the perfect lipstick continues... at Sephora or Ulta instead of a discount store.

I am not one to write reviews, but the "Target Red" in this is the perfect color red!!!...not only that but it actually does stay on!! I ate, drank, gave a kiss, and slept all night just to test it, and it was almost perfect still when I woke up the next day! The only part that came off was on the inner part of my lips, which was still hard to tell. Nothing a quick touch up couldn't fix! I couldn't wash this stuff off with regular face wash, had to use make-up remover! This stuff rocks!!
