Love it! July 18, 2007 Reviewer:  Mama Re-Re "Aaliyah's Mami" (Woodstock, GA, USA)  See all my reviews >

I put a 3 for durability because, to be quite frank, I have no clue how durable it is since we've only had it for 1 week. My 3 yr old daughter got it for her birthday from her Abuella and Abuello and then 2 games to go with it from her other grandparents. She absolutely adores it. The graphics are kind of sad but to be quite frank if it holds her attention for longer then 15 min with out her throwing a tantrum then it's a miracle. The games seem to be very educational but not so much that she can't grasp what's needed of her. I can already tell a difference with her Alphabet skills in the few times she's played it. I'm amazed at how quickly she caught on and how long she plays with it. It gives me more then ample time to fix dinner when I get her home and after dinner she even wants me to play with her. I would deffinatly suggest this product to anyone with a child getting ready to graduate into a Pre-K or 3 yr old class. Kids need to learn computers at such a young age now and the ClickStart computer will deffinatly help her along. She's already starting to master the mouse and knows how to turn the console off when she's done. I LOVE LOVE LOOOOVVEEE this thing. It get's a DEFINATE A+ in my book:)

Great Toy!! July 30, 2008 Reviewer:  Happy Mom "Chris W" (NY)  See all my reviews >

I couldn't believe this toy only had 1 1/2 stars and 2 negative reviews so I just had to add one myself. My 4yr old daughter received this for her b-day and both she and my 3 year old LOVE it! The games are fun and educational, and I liked the fact that they have different skill levels so that my 3yr old can play the same games. The only problem I see that the other reviewers had with this toy were related to the batteries. If the mouse "freezes" it's because the batteries are dying. Also, the light WILL go out by itself if the toy is not played with after a few minutes. It's designed to shut off automatically. There IS an adapter you can get for this toy and as with any electronic toy that you know your child will play with a lot, you will save a lot of money if you just buy the $10 adapter from the get go. In conclusion, this is another GREAT toy from Leapfrog and I will continue to purchase more games for this toy as well as their other toys.

Not worth the money. September 10, 2008 Reviewer:  Dedicated Mommy (Arlington, Tn)  See all my reviews >

I usually like LeapFrog products quite a bit, so this product was quite a disappointment. The graphics are very bitmapped. Even for an audience of 3 - 5 years old, they could have done MUCH BETTER. There is a very limited number of activities for each of the cartridges you have to buy - only 3 on the ones we bought.

There are some Quality Assurance / Testing issues with the mouse that could have easily been identified and resolved.

My kids get bored with this product after about 20 minutes, and don't want to play with it very often. [...]

Definitely feel like I wasted the money.

Great first computer for my 4 year old April 13, 2008 Reviewer:  Mamaland.S (Indiana, United States)  See all my reviews >

My son received this as a birthday gift for his 4th birthday a few weeks ago, and he really enjoys it. I love it because the letters and numbers are in the "right place" like a real computer keyboard, and it gives him something to do when I'm on my computer.

I quickly realized that it works best if you have the console pointing directly to the keyboard or the mouse/keys won't work well. We've just set up the keyboard/mouse and console on the same table about 4 feet away from the tv, and it works wonderfully.

My son already knew how to use a mouse, so I think that helped. He's left handed, so I like that you can use the mouse on either side. We have decided though, that this mouse works better with a real mouse pad. The mouse pad surface (the green footprint) is small, and he would always go off of it while trying to play the Scout dog game. Once we switched to another mouse pad my son stopped having difficulties. It's on a long enough cord, so it reaches fine to the pad on the table. No probs now with the mouse.

The console is nice and compact. There are little openings where you can store cartridges right with it. It's easy to store when not in use. Both the keyboard/mouse & console fit easily in a drawer under our tv.

Right now my son only plays the games that come loaded on the computer. There are 4 basic games to get them started, but I will be purchasing the other games soon. I wanted to see if he would be interested or not before buying additional games to go along with it.

My son is usually hard on his toys, and we're teaching him to treat this with respect. It is his "real" computer & if it lasts I'm sure he & his brother will use it for years to come. I have caught him getting frustrated and "banging" on the keys a few times (hard) and the thing keeps on ticking. It seems to be sturdy enough.

This is probably the best "toy" for my son right now. He wants to be just like mom & dad on his own "big" computer. Love it!

OK, but not Stellar December 3, 2008 Reviewer:  CJsMoM "CHaR" (Pa)  See all my reviews >

My daughter got her FIRST keyboard a yr ago..after playing with it for 3wks, the mouse froze on the screen. I called customer service everyday for 3 months and they kept telling me they didn't have the mouse in stock. FINALLY after 4 months they sent it but by then I had already bought her a SECOND keyboard. I was quite disappointed because I love the concepts that LEAPFROG comes up with, but after this had happened , and after dealing with their customer service..This will be the last purchase I make from LEAPFROG

Not like the Leap Frog I knew November 19, 2008 Reviewer:  Evelyn from A "EvelynC547" (Atlanta)  See all my reviews >

This toy first of all did not work, exchanged it, still not working, finally after hours online and on phone got a replacement that worked exactly two days. I am never buying LeapFrog again. The customer service is terrible.
Target as always was great.

Great product! October 23, 2008 Reviewer:  Anne Ash's Mom (IL)  See all my reviews >

My daughter got this for Christmas last year (at age 4). It has taught her basic computer skills along with academic skills via her favorite characters. We have been very happy with it and it has been used all year long!

My three year old loves his computer July 3, 2008 Reviewer:  Lindsey S. (Oregon, WI USA)  See all my reviews >

My son received this for Christmas this past year and he loves playing with it. We purchased many of the games as well as the power cord for the system (for the price I think they should include that with the item). I have not had any durability issues with this, and my son has not been easy on the keyboard. He stands on it and dangles it by the mouse wire and it still works great. He likes that he can change the games when he wants to. I like that he is getting experience with a keyboard, it will make using a computer much easier for him.

2 trys...same problem. February 3, 2009 Reviewer:  My Sunshine "Laura" (St. Louis, MO)  See all my reviews >

I am compelled to write my first ever online product review to hopefully spare others a waste of time. Was excited about the concept of combining educational activities with a kid friendly keyboard system. The mouse was uncontrollable from the start. We spent a considerable amount of time trying to trouble shoot it and finally only got it to work properly by moving it around on a blanket rather than the mouse pad it came with. For the 15 minutes the system worked like this, my 3 1/2 year old had a blast. The graphic quality is very low but for the money, I didn't expect much more and the kids certianly don't seem to mind. After the mouse froze again, we decided to pack it up and return it. No questions asked and Target is always great for returns. We just plugged in the replacement, and the same problem with the mouse. I am fairly understanding, but I am assuming this is more than a coincidence. This one will be going back to Target tomorrow. Searching for a comparable system with no luck yet. Hopefully Leap Frog will take more care with future offerings rather than trying to rush a product to market with such obvious quality deficiencies. Very disappointed.

Not what i expected. November 13, 2008 Reviewer:  Maria Rivera Real Name (USA)  See all my reviews >

I really thought this toy was going to be excellent but my 5yr old daughter proved me different. At first she was very excited but after half an hour she was bored and didnt want to play with it. Also the games are very limited.
