I wanted an attractive piece of furniture to hold our very large CD collection that would look good with our queen-anne style furnishings. I love this thing! it reguired no assembly and is very solid and expensive looking. In the description it says it can hold DVDS but I would not recommend it. the drawers are perfect for cd's though, to file them the same as music stores do, with the spines up. it has a nice, english-professor study appeal. I bought it in cherry and it is a nice lovely color.

This product is really nice. It comes in one piece. Looks very nice. It matches the more expensive furniture I got at [a furniture store]. It's a nice way to categorize you DVD's or CD's

The only problem I have is that the middle drawers don't open all the way. I assume it's to keep the drawers from falling out when you store CD's. But you can't put DVD's in those drawers when they don't open all the way. We had to remove the pegs under the drawers that stop them from opening all the way. This was not a easy task.

i was very disappointed that this was sold as a dvd rack. i bought it specifically to store my large dvd collection, it would have been great if the drawers were large enough to fit the dvd boxes,however,they are not big enough. as a cd rack it is beautiful, it's really cool looking, nice quality, but it's very misleading to say it holds almost 200 dvds.

I too wanted a nice piece of furniture with a retro look to store my cd collection. I'm pleased with what I received and am about to order another now that I know how it looks in-person. It is NOT high-end furniture, it is made in China, and it may not last forever but for what it cost and what it does with the cd collection, I think it's a great buy. It fits in a room of mine that houses HIGHER-END CHERRY WOOD furniture and it does not pale in comparison (i.e. you can get away with it). Thumbs up.

Ordered it on 9/13 and got it on 9/22 just as promised.
Like to ask "MY THOUGHTS" how they removed the pegs under the drawers that stop them from opening all the way.
Have the same problem.

Waited a long time for item to be shipped then when it finally arrived it was damaged. The outside of the box says it was double boxed which it was not and obviously the item had been thrown around. It arrived with a big crack on the top of the cabinet and then when I went to exchange it it says I have to return the item then reorder it, which will take forever for another to ship. It looked like a beautiful product if it wasn't damaged it would have been great. Target should rethink using UPS it seems like they really have no respect for shipped items. It seems everything I get from them has damage....

One figure they didn't publish is that if you use paper sleeves for your discs, you can cram 2600 DVD/CDs into this thing. It is beautiful, sturdy, classic stylish and, again, beautiful. Had to knock off a star because of delivery: 2 weeks. Took Target 5 days to get it in the mail. Other than that, perfect.

I like that this is 'real' furniture. It seems like a traditional piece, but I have a modern decor and it fits in perfectly. Highly recommend.
