This multi purpose weather radio sounded great but when I received it in the mail I found it to be defective right off the bat. I could not pick up any weather report at all, just static, and the flash light had a short and kept flickering. Light weight, cheap, and very poorly made.

Gets mostly static where my other weather radio gets a pretty good signal. Never received the AC adapter despite paying for shipping. Don't bother.

When radio was ordered it took a long time to receive. I missed the part that stated I would have to order the adapter for radio and cellphone separate which added 11.00 to cost. Adapters also took over a month to receive. Radio worked great but I could not get it to sound weather alert as advertised. It was turned on and weather alert came on television but radio was quiet.

DO NOT BUY THIS! Got it in the mail, and sure enough, the clock didn't work. Simple thing like hey should we check this before we send it out. But of course they didn't do that. I will NEVER buy anything from target online AGAIN!
QUALITY, try learning what that means.

I got this as a gift for emergencies but it's great for camping too. We took it on our last camping trip and it worked great. It has a lot of cool features like the reading light on the handle that lights up when you lift it up and the built-in flashlight. It's also great as an alarm clock or simply a radio. One of the best things about it is the wind up charger, so no batteries needed (although it might be good to keep some extras around just in case)!

I saw the great reviews that this product got and decided it was worth a try for my upcoming camping trip. And I am so glad I made this decision. This product is definitely worth buying – it is great for getting the weather forecasts. Also some of the competitor products are almost double the price!!

I recently bought a few Lifegear products and liked them so much that I went and looked on their website to find some more great products. And I found this treasure – a weatherband radio – It is absolutely perfect for my camping needs. It has all the power for the cell phone, radio and gives the weather reports. Thanks Lifegear and keep up the great products!

I too was somewhat discouraged by the first review (i bought the product before I read it), but upon recieving the product I was surprised. It seems as if everything is in good working condition. I have not run into any emergency yet, but I have used it in the bathroom and by the pool. And I do agree that the flashlight is not the primary function, but I personally love the fact that it is their if I need it.

After reading the 1-star review I was a little nervous about the product, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had no problem getting the weather signal and the flashlight worked fine. The crank wasn't my favorite, but it got the job done. I would still recommend having another flashlight around though for better lighting. And during all these thunderstorms we're having this summer, it was a great device to have. I actually have bought a few for my family members.
