Just received this in the mail today. It is very soft and is not see-through! The fabric is thicker than I imagined it would be and with a nude-colored bra, you won't have to worry about showing through the fabric. I am nearly 8 months pregnant and ordered one size larger than my pre-pregnancy size. I am glad I did, as it will last even through the last few large months.
