Convenient pouring lip on 2 sides. Sloped sides and looped handle. Can be used on a campfire, stovetop, oven and can slow cook foods. This is exactly what I hoped for, and even better because it really was pre-seasoned as advertised. This pan is great for cooking all kinds of things, and there is a reason our grandmothers loved their iron skillets. (You do have to remember to care for it properly though. Don't leave it full of water or put in the dishwasher.)

This is just the right size to cook for one person, and also not too heavy because it is only 8". I thought it was a great price, too.
