Seem fine to me May 23, 2008 Reviewer:  Gigi of CA (Bay Area, California)  See all my reviews >

5/23 - Flats are great -- and even cuter when in patent leather and adorned with a matching rosette. I am a 7.5 and ordered the size 8. They fit perfectly. Using an insert didn't even occur to me when I tried these on. Flats don't support the arch anyway, so if someone is trying to wear these for extended periods of time that's the 1st mistake. The sole feels nice and sturdy, though and definitely an awesome pair of shoes, esp at a bargain price. Guess I'll road test them now to check all the fuss about the gathered heel.

5/28 - Guess I got lucky. One shoe fit fine, no digging in the heel at all. There is digging in the other heel. I can't explain it. I love the gathering in the back. I just don't understand why it digs. I'm going to wear them around the house & wear a sock in the one that digs. They are definitely worth it if you're picking them up for a bargain. Oh yeah -- the blk patent looks great. Doesn't look cheap at all. The rosette is too cute.

BREAK THEM IN! BREAK THEM IN! BREAK THEM IN! May 20, 2008 Reviewer:  T. Y. Thompkins "Ce-Ce's Mommy" Real Name (Maryland)  See all my reviews >

I bought these because they were cute and didn't realize how they fit. Once I tried them on and had to immediately take them off. Wore them for about 3 days and they were fine. I liked them so much I bought another pair in a different color.

Cute shoes - weird fit May 19, 2008 Reviewer:  SF Shopper (San Francisco, CA)  See all my reviews >

I normally wear a size 6 or 6 1/2 but had to get an 8 in these - they are so short! They're very cute, and if you get the right size, fairly comfortable. But the soles are super thin and unless you can fit an insert in them it will feel like you're walking directly on the sidewalk. Luckily, I accounted for this when trying them on, but if I'd ordered my normal size online I would have been really disappointed. Anyway, they are really cute and I've gotten lots of compliments on them.

Cute? Yes. Comfortable? Not so much. April 8, 2008 Reviewer:  Robyn M. Zaneski "robynpuff79" Real Name (Astoria NY)  See all my reviews >

I wish I had read the previous reviews before buying these adorable, yet not very comfortable, shoes. I usually wear either a size 7 1/2 or an 8. I got these in an 8 and they hurt my feet! But maybe I just need to break them in still. The rosette is adorable and worth the suffering. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for fashion!

Need to break them in March 27, 2008 Reviewer:  Target Shopper "Nagiko" (Savannah, GA)  See all my reviews >

I bought these last night after lusting after them for weeks. I have them on today at work, and they are a bit tight. In the past, I have broken shoes in by wearing them around the house for a few days with gym socks. This trick always works. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Cute flats! March 8, 2008 Reviewer:  Needs Bigger Closet "Lourdes Paulina" (Douglas, AK, USA)  See all my reviews >

I was very excited for Loeffler Randall's line at Target. I bought a couple of the handbags online and was very happy with them. Luckily, I was able to go to a Target store soon after. Before, I didn't bother buying any of the flats because I have size 4-4.5 feet. You can imagine how difficult it is for me to find cute shoes in my size. My cousin wears a size 6 shoe and I just had to see them on someone. While she was trying them on, I decided just for fun, to try on a 5.5. To my great surprise, they fit me! I think because they are cinched it helped keep the shoes in place when I walked. That was enough for me; I bought the black rosette flats that same day. I wear them all the time because they are comfortable and easy to wear. Plus they just add something to my outfits. I wear them for all occasions. I am very happy that I was able to try them on otherwise I would have never have bought them.

Perfect black ballet flat February 19, 2008 Reviewer:  Busy Working Mom "Christine" (West Springfield, MA)  See all my reviews >

These are the most perfect little black ballet flats I've found! They are really comfortable, and the elastic on the back keeps them from slipping off -- very important when I'm cat- or toddler-wrangling. They're perfect with my skinny jeans and wraparound sweater, but they've also been the perfect shoe to slip into my work bag when I have to trudge into the office in snow boots. Plus, the little rosette is so cute!

They are comfortable! February 1, 2008 Reviewer:  D Corley (New York)  See all my reviews >

I keep seeing reviews that say these shoes are hard to break in, I thought they were just the opposite. The elastic backs make them really comfortable, especially compared to most other ballet flats.

too painful! January 26, 2008 Reviewer:  H. Mann Real Name (California)  See all my reviews >

I bought these shoes in 2 colors and loved the look of them but they were so uncomfortble on my heals and left me with huge blisters I had to return them!

Very cute, but do size up 1/2 size January 18, 2008 Reviewer:  A. Schulze Real Name (Boston, MA)  See all my reviews >

As other readers have cautioned, do size up in this style. These are SO cute; I just keep sneaking glances at them when I wear them. As others said, they do need to be broken in. I suggest wearing them around the house with socks; that should protect the back of your heels while breaking them in. Cute and so true to the LR style.
