Excellent product for inexpensive price August 17, 2008 Reviewer:  K. R. Hall "knowledge guru & budget shopper" Real Name (Michigan)  See all my reviews >

I just bought this deskset on sale at Target [...] and I must say that it works great. I've seen others complain about the keyboard being flimsy or that the mouse buttons are loud...etc. etc....but you have to remember that is the cheapest set offered by Logitech. I find the quality to be great for the price. Easy to connect to your computer. The purpose for buying this was to keep up with technology and get rid of some of the wires I have connected to my computer...Job accomplished. I found the keyboard to be rather sturdy as well as the mouse...if your looking for the ergonomic design this is not the set for you. It is the basic keyboard and mouse and it gets the job done. Note: The board is rather flat even with the legs extended underneath and both items run on batteries..2 AA for the keyboard and 2 AAA batteries for the mouse (Duracell batteries are included with your deskset)...which you will probably have to change from time to time...but for the price you will pay (under $30)...you really can't complain. If you want superb design and higher quality you should opt for a more expensive model.

Don't waste your money November 23, 2008 Reviewer:  S. Davis Real Name (battle creek, mi United States)  See all my reviews >

The mouse worked great but the key board is a waste of money. When I typed a letter it wouldn't work until I pressed the button 3 or 4 times. It took me 5 min's to type 2 sentences. Needless to say it tried my patience. Back to the store it goes

I'm returning it May 19, 2009 Reviewer:  Tarheel Fan (NC)  See all my reviews >

This installed easily, but as soon as I started to use the keyboard, I realized that I would have to return it. As another reviewer mentioned, the keyboard was not recognizing my keystrokes. I was constantly having to go back and retype a word that was missing letters. It was taking way too long just to write a sentence.

Decent for the Price January 6, 2009 Reviewer:  GeekyGal (Arcadia, CA)  See all my reviews >

Have had it for two weeks now. So far so good. The keyboard needs to be reactivated a few times for the first few days. It seems to be functioning fine at this point. The mouse is excellent. For uninterrupted workflow, I highly recommend rechargeable batteries for both devices since neither one can be turned off when not in used. Wish Logitech would make that feature available on less expensive models.

Most practical way to go Wireless!! May 18, 2009 Reviewer:  Riding2Heaven "erwin M" (Chula Vista)  See all my reviews >

Bought this on sale. Half off for only $15.00 at Target. Amazing!! Can't believe i bought this for such a low price! And for a brand like logitech. Works with precision. Very comfortable keyboard and mouse. So easy plug and play, that a baby can do it. Sleek keyboard design. Logitech always gives great extra features, as in the software it comes with. You can customize the settings and also see how much battery life you have on the screen. Batteries are included, and they come with duracell batteries, unlike some other brands that don't include batteries or give some unknown "cheap" batteries. As with all logitech products, I do recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good quality, wireless keyboard and mouse. Thanks logitech! and Target!

Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for February 18, 2009 Reviewer:  NeoteriX (Boston, MA)  See all my reviews >

Bought this looking for a wireless keyboard and mouse for my home theatre pc. This is one of the cheapest wireless setups you will find -- however, the product is wrought with compromises. Because of the constant annoying squeaking and the poor battery life, this had to go back. 3 stars because it's cheap, and it works (which is more than I can say for other wireless setups I've tried)

Pros:
+ Good wireless range (better than comparable Microsoft)
+ lightweight, compact

Cons:
- Mouse construction is *very* poor; only after 1 week, the mouse buttons started squeeking as if they needed WD-40 in the joints
- Mouse always stays on, consumes batteries very quickly. On rechargeables, they last about a week or two at best

Thank you, Target and Logitech! November 22, 2008 Reviewer:  My Dogs Person "Lexy Woof and Mom" (Oregon)  See all my reviews >

This item was featured in Target Sale ad this week for under [..]....that's for the keyboard, mouse, and batteries! You just can't beat that. I agree with KR Hall, if you are looking for fancy, this may not be for you. But for the price, it gets the job done. You can spend half that much on just the batteries alone. Not to mention the spill resistance feature of the keyboard!

TARGET: THANK YOU for making a good product available at a GREAT price. We can all use a break these days where money is concerned. I hope that manufacturers and marketers get ON BOARD with this idea to aid the country...and world, even....in these extreme times.

Good value for $.. November 17, 2009 Reviewer:  Keith See all my reviews >

I am amazed that this was on sale at Target, I am NO fan of Target but I saw this by accident. It is a great Kbd and Mouse, so if the layout is a bit unusual, then DON'T BUY IT.
Those who have such criticisms make me shake my head they are like the bone heads who pan a product for not having a certain feature when the product states categorically that the feature is not present. They still buy it and then start to moan.
I have seen reviews of this product saying it only has a range of 3 feet, well I get a good connection at at least 20 feet. Some say the mouse eats batteries, well on that front time will tell.
For $.. you can't beat it.

Broke in less than a week November 10, 2009 Reviewer:  Baltimore, MD See all my reviews >

Broke in less than a week. First the mouse, then the keyboard. Replaced batteries to no avail. Never had a complaint about logitech until this combo.
