Before you buy this just know that it’s cheap. It is made of cheap plastic, and under no circumstances trust your iPod in it not to get wet and get ruined. Also be aware that it DOES NOT FIT ALL iPods!!!! I have a 30 gig iPod and I cannot get it in there all the way because the wire that connects into the head set plug stops it from setting in correctly, which in turn stops me from putting in the bottom cover. Those little lights are a joke also. All in all I would have rather paid a little more money for a better built one.

IPOD is way too expensive to have it destroyed!!!

Okay, we really should have known better, electronics and water just do not mix. But the picture has an IPOD in the stereo and we thought it would be safe. However, ours just quit working. We took it to have it looked at and guess what--water damage. We used our IPOD in this maybe 5 times at most. The radio itself is fine, and the mirror is nice, but if you buy this I absolutely warn you--do not use your IPOD (or any other comprable MP3 player) in this shower radio.

The radio worked for 3 days, then stopped. We were able to use the radio 3 times and then it must have shorted out. This is very cheaply made and does not seem like it should be in or near water at all. The lights went on and never went off. Dont waste your money

There is a reason why this awful product sells at such a low price. I first bought it about two months ago - on the first one I received the battery pack would not open, even after an intervention with pliers. When I finally pried it open with a screwdriver and put batteries in, all I could get the player to produce is a staticky, fax-machine like sound at any setting. Thinking that perhaps I'd broken a part of the mechanism by applying force to the battery pack, I sent it back for a replacement. When my second one arrived, I was able to open it and power it up more easily, but the rubber waterproofing strip on the iPod storage unit came undone after the second use. The sound quality was pretty terrible, but it worked. After the third use the volume was halved and one of the speakers burned out... After the fifth, the light no longer worked (not that it illuminated anything before) and the waterproofing peeled off irreparably. The player quickly met its demise in the trashcan.
I am usually pretty happy with products I order from Target, but this is a true piece of [trash]. Spend a little extra and get a decent player at an electronics store, folks.

When I first bought this, it seemed pretty. Once I tried putting my ipod in it, it wouldnt fit, but it did fit in there backwards. Another thing is you cannot control the ipod from where it sits. I took apart the shower radio, and literally cut some plastic away for my ipod to fit and glued cardboard on the back so the ipod can be up close and can push the buttons through the plastic sheet. Very little room to work once you get it open.
Also, radio reception is bad, and the mirror fogs. WTF!! Dont waste your money. Buy a good one.
