You are not able to take drawers off once you put them on.
Once I got files into the bottom drawer the gliders ended up breaking and the drawer would not shut. Could not get drawer off to fix. It looks ok, but does not work efficiently and broke way too easily.

Attractive but a little small

The file cabinet is attractive, albeit a bit shallow. The color is a nice warm brown color with a smooth finish that will look more expensive than it is to the casual observer. It is held together by some rather wimpy camlocks so we're a bit worried it won't stay sturdy once it's filled. Also, I noticed that the table top to the Madison desk I bought is made of pressed paper and not wood with veneers so I am guessing the top of this file cabinet is made of the same materials. Building time was about 30 minutes.

Nice but difficult assembly

I had some trouble assebling it but luckly my boyfriend works for a cabinet company and found a way to make it useful. We had to screw extra strips of cardboard between the railing that the drawers slide on, if not the drawers would just fall off. It's held up for a year now and it looks great, but for someone looking for an easy assembly file cabinet I wouldn't recommend it.

Attractive unit, but hardware to assemble is cheap. Camlocks broke with a simple twist. I used my own L-brackets to assemble all parts. Slide tracks needed shims to fit the drawers correctly, otherwise the drawers fell off tracks. A huge waste of time. I bought this for a specific space requirement, which it met. Target should evaluate a "good buy" against "Customer Satisfaction" This overseas-built unit has no quality control in place.
