After an unexplained delay in shipping (over 3 weeks from time of order) my bookcase finally arrived with a major split in one of the side panels. Though it is real wood, its construction is poor, reminding me of other cheap bookcases that I have bought for less than [what this one costs]. Save your money and the hassle...

Shipping was great, all the pieces were there, and it was really easy to put together. It's a beautiful bookcase, but if you have more than 20 books, you're not going to have enough room for them all.
