I've had this desk for a year and a half now, and I still love it! I use it in my office for scrapbooking and love how big (especially deep) the table top is - I have plenty of room for working and even some storage.

I noticed in reading some other reviews that there were complaints of black marks or having to go over the table with white spray paint, but if you read the description of the desk, you'll see that it's an "antiqued white finish" - meaning that there are some worn looking spots for style, not because of a lack of quality! Everyone who's ever commented on my desk has loved it, and you can tell just by looking at it that's good quality! Definitely buy when free shipping is offered though, because this table weighs a ton!

The desk was easy to assemble but the streaks in it are way too symmetrically to be considered part of the antique look. It just plain looks like someone did a poor job painting the thing. The edges looked like they'd been rubbed against something and the color was gone in places all over the desk.

This desk arrived to me very beaten up! There were many spots where the paint had been chipped or rubbed off, or simply not applied. I had to buy white spray paint and fix all of the errors. It is also VERY heavy. However, the desk does look nice.

I had to come back to write a review for you, the desk shopper, because I was there only a few days ago and I screen reviews like crazy! I spent hours over the past month shopping online for a desk. Seriously consider buying this one! It's about the length and width of a basic picnic table and the wood is heavy, thick and solid. It's entirely white, no exposed particle board looking underneath, it's quality and I'm very happy with it! If you should redecorate years from now, you can use it as what ever you like, it's not an obvious computer desk, you know? Oh, and my 7 year old daughter helped me put it together. Fed Ex dropped it off at 6 and by 7 we were done. I hope this helped you out!

I bought this desk as an arts and crafts table for my two kids (age 8 and 5) and I am here to tell you that it couldn't be any more perfect!!!!!! I just LOVE this desk. It is sturdy, heavy wood and has a finish on it that is perfect for little artists (crayons, markers easily wipe off the top surface). I am confident that you cannot get a better desk than this for the money.

Just love it! I has a sturdy base and was very easy to put together. The antique white is a beautiful accent in my room. Its perfect for sewing, drafting, drawing, or just sitting back and thinking. Much better than what [another retailer] was offering.
