I bought two of these a year ago. The one I sit on every day has (after a year) two tiny dings in the wood finish that I could easily color in if they were big enough to see. I only noticed them today while inspecting the chair for wear. These chairs function smoothly and all my friends report they are comfortable for dining room action. I had a two hundred eighty pound friend standing on one to reach up high, and he didn't even realize it was a folding chair. There was no problem. I am careful not to abuse my chairs, standing on them aside, and they have come through a year of use by me, my friends, and my pets, looking and functioning exactly as they were when I bought them, two aforementioned dings notwithstanding. I reccommend these chairs and plan to buy more.

These are the prettiest folding chairs I have seen. They fold easily. They are comfortable to sit in and look good as well.

Very sturdy, well packed chairs. Solid construction. Has a neat locking mechanism when folded with protective rubber bumpers so the wood doesn't get damaged. For the price, these chairs are surprisingly well made. I would recommend them.

i bought one at my local store for $40 bucks and it broke the first day i had it. the stretcher bar between the front legs was not glued or nailed in and separated as soon as i got it home. on my parquet floors, the chair simply wobbled and broke. i'm returning it tomorrow.

I was pleasantly surprised when these chairs arrived. I ordered them after reading some good reviews, but didn't expect them to be as nice as they are considering the price. They are very handy and fairly compact when folded closed. I recommend.

I just ordered two more. They really are great extra chairs for gatherings. We don't use ours too much, so they hold up just fine for us. A great buy!

These chairs are very stylish. I was tired of borrowing folding chairs for parties and decided to invest in my own. I didn't want the metal ones but rather something that would match my home's decor. These chairs fit perfectly. I have eight of them. Most people don't even know they are folding chairs. I don't use them often so I haven't had the problem with them holding up. They seem to be pretty durable.

I bought these as a set of two, and one came with slight imperfections in the paint. It is not noticeable enough to return, though, since they will not be used on a daily basis. They are very sturdy and quite comfortable. I don't think anyone would know these are folding chairs once they are open, and can be stored away easily. They look wonderful at my table and match nicely with my decor. I feel good about putting them out when we need additional seating at our table. SO MUCH NICER that the traditional folding chair. They do chip easily, but can be touched up with a marker. For the price, I think they are a GREAT buy and am very happy with this purchase.

We have 3 of these chairs from the days when they were sold in the stores. We need at least 1 more, but they are no longer in the stores, and the ones shipped to us came damaged. Plenty of nicks and scratches and unevenly made vertical bars on back of 1 chair. How did this terrific chair degenerate so fast?
