I fridging LOOOVVEEEE this futon. Granted, I've had it three days, and the cushion has to prove it's not going to wear out on me, but so far, I'm madly in love. :D It's super comfortable, and really easy to put together ((I have absolutely no idea what the dude who wrote about the 'engineering degree' was going on about...)). The green is definitely not in the mint family, although the darker apple green shade was exactly what I was looking for, and painted my walls with, so that worked out nicely for me. :) Definitely recommend. Happy sitting. :D

We just received this in a timely fashion! It was easy to put together although be careful not to put it directly on your carpet before dusting it off. There is metal dust that will stain or discolor light colored carpet! Anyway, a little disappointed in the color of green. Nothing mint about it, but it is more of a dark apple green not very bright. The chocolate is true dark chocolate. The other complaint we have is the metal is more of a gunmetal color--dark grey not a satin nickel or chrome color as portrayed.
Overall, we are happy. This is for my 10 year-old son's room and playroom area for reading and hanging out. He thinks it is cool! It does look good and seems like it will hold up reasonably well. For the money it is worth it. Just watch the color if you are looking for exact. It is the common chocolate and green combination that is trendy right now. I hope this helps someone!

i liked the look and the choice of colors. but the cushion is really thin, so after a few months it was just uncomfortable sitting on the futon (and i'm pretty petite). you can feel the slats really easily. but i didn't have any problems with stuffing coming out of the cushion. also, the structure of the futon frame seemed pretty good, too. it was just the cushion.

I bought this futon online and was nervous because of all the negative reviews. However, this is a GREAT futon! It is very comfortable and when you have the sides up, it seats two people snugly. I have it in my dorm room and everyone adores it. It's is GREAT for small spaces. I have slept on it numerous times and it is very comfortable. This futon is PERFECT for dorms and I would HIGHLY recommend it. When you read negative comments, just think about this and read with caution: people usually only comment on items that they have problems with- people don't usually waste their time writing good reviews. One thing is that the green cushions are a bit darker in person than they are online. Other than that, it's a GREAT BUY!

I bought this futon for my fifteen year old daughter's new bedroom/tv area. It arrived minus the cushion, and when my husband began assembling it we discovered that the front left leg was missing. Also, the metal was scratched on the legs and frame when we removed it from the shipping carton. We now have to wait at least another four days to receive the new leg. Needless to say, my daughter is very disappointed! Don't buy this item~it's cheaply made and defintely not worth the money we paid!

I brought this item because I was limited on space, but this was not the item for me so I had to return it. I did come in luck and find a Microfiber Swivel Dish Chair @ Target for cheaper and went perfect with my new comforter.

I received the futon quickly. I bought this one because of the small size and the fact that it can sit right next to a wall. There is no frame sticking out the back like the other models. The size really worked for my space. The color is definitely apple green and chocolate brown. Mint is misleading. I like the actual colors. The mattress is OK, comfortable enough for a teenager to sleep on occasionally. Not great, but good enough. Overall, I think it was a good purchase. My daughters like it.

It was very easy to assemble, I'm petite so it's perfect and the padding is sufficent. The legs are sturdy, both my husband and myself sit on it with out a problem. It's not heavy at all so it was easy to carry/move it around the apt. The only bad thing is that the bad smell of the cushions but in time it'll go away

I bought two... and love them, but what ever they used as a flame retardant must be very toxic and gives me a head ache! After 24 hours airing outside they still stink with a strong chemical smell. I might have to toss the futon stuffing and start over with something else.
