This nursing stool is pretty sturdy, has ridges, and has a pretty good height and angle for my feet. Unfortunately the stool has to be assembled first, but my husband only took a few minutes to put the stool together. It's pretty useful while I'm sitting on the sofa and nursing. We purchased this stool since I heard that some moms also use it while sitting at a desk to work.

I received a rocker glider for my shower, but it didn't have an ottoman with it, so I was debating whether I should buy an ottoman or just find a nursing stool. I am so glad I bought this. At first glance, I thought it looked kind of dinky for the price. But I was wrong! This thing is ergonomically correct, and was designed to relieve the stress off all your body parts so you can sit comfortably. The design is pure genius! It really is so comfortable. You've got to try it to believe it. And it's made of solid wood pieces that are very sturdy, and assembly is very easy. I would highly recommend this simple little contraption. It might seem like a waste of money to some people, but believe me, it's not! It puts you in the correct seated position, and saves you aches and pains.

I bought this online and I must say I cannot live w/o it! It's affordable, the quality is excellent, and it was super easy to put together. It functions so well also. It raises my legs up just a tad so that I can easily nurse in my glider, reducing the strain on my legs and my arms to get baby up to the right height. It's slanted just a bit also for comfort. I highly recommend it. Packaged nicely so that during shipping, nothing was damaged. I believe it is also available in white, but I have the natural wood color. Also, baby recently spit up all over the stool, and I just brought the stool to the sink, rinsed it off w/o a problem.... the varnish protected the product from the water. You wont be disappointed!

I received this stool as a shower gift for the birth of our first child- I originally thought it wouldn't get used since it was just a stool! :) (So I thought.) Once home from the hospital, I quickly realized that getting your feet up and having good back support was crucial to early breastfeeding and it was indeed a life-saver! The slant is perfect, allowing you to sit back against the couch and still have your feet comfortably propped. It brings your knees up and gives extra support to the baby and your arms! I still have it and it is getting used for our son to stand on while he brushes his teeth at the sink! :)

This is a must have. My daughter loved it while nursing and rocking her baby, and then I adopted it for work at the computer and transcription. I will have to get another one as my daughter is going to need it back!!

Very impressive quality, and super easy to assemble with the tool provided. Beautiful, solid wood with a smooth finish; non-slip grooves on the top surface, and nice rubber non-skid bottoms on the legs. I ended up buying two, one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

I bought this stool for back and upper-leg support during the third trimester of pregnancy. Just what I needed for sitting for extended periods of time at work, as it tucks away very nicely underneath my desk and isn't too bulky. Could be a little bit wider, but still a worthy purchase. I expect it will be just as useful for propping my feet up when nursing and I think it's easier to store and prop up my feet on vs. an ottoman.

I bought this stool to nurse my babies and it worked perfectly for that purpose. Now, I'm ordering two more because my "babies" are 16 and 13 and they each want one to use under their computer desks! I'm using the original one at my desk and it really helps. We all love it around here - and the original stool is still going strong after 16 years.

Although it arrived in parts, it was very easy to assemble. Once assembled, it's sturdy and VERY comfortable. Furthermore, you can't beat the price! I highly recommend it.
