I first saw this at Target and thought it was the cutest thing ever. I almost impulsed bought this but decided I wanted to shop around more (college student on a budget). So I looked up this product and saw that most of the reviews were negative. Infatuated with how cute it was I purchased this knowing it did not have a good reputation but also thinking that maybe the others before me just had a bad one. NO. I bought this TWO days ago and it has already died. It will not turn on nor does any of its other functions work. My copy of Titanic is still in the trey. I'm going to push that they reimburse me for my movie because they sold me the faulty item.
I strongly suggest that you do not make my mistake and buy it anyway just because of how cute it is. It's not that cute to lose a copy of Titanic!!

I bought one cause it matched my dorm room and everything and it wasnt that expensive. But i used it the first night i bought it, and once like that two weeks later. Then i tried using it about two months later and it was making awful sounds after i turned the power on. So i took it back to target and exchanged it cause i still had my reciept and the second one i got works. I havent had any trouble out of it. So i think its good, just make sure the box it is in isnt dented or opened and i think you'll be alright.

I bought this DVD player about two months ago and it was working fine until about 3 weeks ago. I hit the power button and it wouldn't turn on. I bought a new battery for it and it was fine. I went in to watch a movie and it wouldn't turn on and one of my favorite movies is stuck inside. I wish I would've read the reviews before buying this product. I bought it cause it was pink and I didn't think about it having any problems. It was a waste to spend 40 dollars on something that doesn't even work and I'm not going to keep buying batteries because for one battery for the remote, it's 6 dollars. Don't waste your money on this product.

I bought this dvd player and only used it about 3 times. It is now broke, can not turn it on and I have a dvd from Netflix stuck inside. I knew it wouldn't be that great because of the price, but I figured it was because of the lack of extra features that I really didn't need. I just wanted to play a dvd. I am extremely disappointed. DO NOT BUY.

I bought this DVD Player about a week ago..Used it 3 times and it started to not function properly. I was shocked that it started malfuctioning in such a short time..I returned it to target and bought a Philips DVD player. Will never buy a Memorex product again.

for a dvd player for a playroom, it did not need a lot of bells and whistles, but I expected it to last longer than 6 weeks!

I bought this DVD cause I love pink! I used it the first time and it was fine, the second time I started using it I started having problems. It would skip through the disc, the remote wouldn't work and the display on the DVD was all flickery. The only thing that would work was the open close button on the player and only after pressing it for about 5 seconds. I finally got it to work but it did the same thing the next day and then I couldn't get it to work at all! Definetly going to return this and buy something else!

I purchased this dvd player around christmas time of 2008 it is now the middle of october 2009 and the only problem i have ever had with it is two days ago it wouldnt play my Mirrors dvd, which it did two weeks before.
I suggest this to be a good item, it is cute and is reliable to me more than 3/4ths of the time, i love it

This is the sorriest DVD player I have ever purchased. I purchased this item for my daugter's room. It worked approx 5 or 6 times, then stopped working. It would no longer turn on. I purchased a new battery for the remote and it still would turn on. I dont care if it only cost $ I dont like to waist my money. This was a huge waist.
