This bathing suit basically does nothing for you if you have semi-large [..]. It is cute if you are the model's size, but if you have big thighs, not a good idea.

i disagree with the previous review. i am not a small girl but i love this suit and have gotten tons of compliments on it. it is a great deal if you want that 1950's look without having to pay the super expensive vintage prices.

I was hesitant to order a one piece online, but took a chance figuring I could return it if I hated it. I am tall 5'11, extra long torso, 38C, size 18, and very curvy. Swim suit shopping is generally a nightmare. I love love love this suit!
It is beautiful! It is an amazing quality for the price. Very fashionable and not mom at all. The color is rich and vibrant, a bit more red than the photo shows. I ordered a size smaller than I normally would and could probably go down 2 sizes.
The only problem I have is the black lining. It takes some adjusting and unfortunately peeks out at the bust. When I put the strap on this problem is solved. It could be because of my large chest. Love it, buy it, enjoy it!

I have settled for tankinis for years because my frame is, well, post children. My rather large bust line is too withered for bikinis and my bottom half is too small and flat to fill out a one-piece that my top half requires. I need to cover the extra skin around my middle that will only disappear with lipsuction...and I don't have the money nor the guts to undergo that. I don't particularly care for tankinis for it either squash my breasts together or provides no support at all and carries a statement: "I'm trying to hide what pregnancy and gravity has done to my body."
However, this suit works great for me. It's modest yet incredibly sexy. The gathering at the sides hides the sagging and the "skirt-like" fabric on the back cuts my rear-end in half making it appear smaller. I'm so excited about this swimsuit that I'm thinking about buying another one.

As a fairly curvy woman, vintage cuts often seem to be the most flattering - and this bathing suit is no exception. I always wear it with the strap when I swim, as a possible wardrobe malfunction seems likely. The bandeau top emphasizes the chest area, and the extra fabric at the hips help to create an hourglass shape. Not to mention it covers the stomach! You can't lose!
I've been getting tons of compliments on this suit - especially in regards to the 1950s pin-up style it so closely resembles. Great to see a vintage cut for a low price!

After reading the reviews on this suit I decided to roll the dice and order one...It is, as everyone else has stated, a DARLING suit! It is well made and the shirring covers any donuts in the tummy area. I just wanted to add (since there are no pictures of the back view) that the butt on this suit is SOOOO flattering! I love it! I do agree that the torso is a bit short, but I wear a size 12 and the large fits me fine.

I love, love, love this suit! As a previous reviewer said, it looks very similar to the Jantzen suit I'd been yearning for but I just couldn't justify shelling out for it. This one is 1/3 of the cost and just as cute! It's very flattering on: I usually wear a 4 but I have a large bottom half for my size. This suit fixes my small bust problem and it's flattering in the rear and thigh areas. A size S fit perfectly. I'm 34 years old so it also solves the problem of wanting to look sexy and stylish while still being age-appropriate. These vintage-style suits are so popluar now...how could you go wrong? I do have a couple of issues but they're with Target, not the suit. I bought this before many of the reviews were in and bought it crossing my fingers that it included a strap since one was not mentioned in the description. It does have a removeable strap. It took 5 weeks to get this suit, which I found ridiculous, but in the end it was worth it.

This suit is so cute. If you are looking for a vintage look, this is perfect. It seems to be made pretty well and comes with a halter strap as well. I'm happy ; )

After reading the reviews on this suit I was expecting a really great suit but was rather disappointed by it instead. While it is a cute suit the torso was very short on me and the top had very little support for my chest. i'm a 38 C, instead of supporting my chest it sagged them down giving them a weird shape. In all it's an OK suit, it does have that retro look to it which is cute and what I was looking for, just wish they would have elongated the torso area some more.

I really like this swimsuit - I think it is very flattering and very unique. The only problem is, in my opinion, that the torso is too short. I am only 5'3" and I would never do anything in this suit except lay still and sunbathe without the optional straps. I cannot get it to stay up without them. Otherwise, I love it and I will be wearing it to the beach this summer!
