This a beautiful dress...I plan to wear it Easter..The quality/fabric of this dress is absolutely stunning. I love to call Target...'Tarja'. Thank you for having such wonderful 'Designers' in every area!

very classy dress. the fabric is amazing. a little hot for summer due to the linning in it but amazing none the less. it looks very expensive which is a plus for the price. the tappered waist and pleats add a chic look to the dress. I wore this to a wedding and received many compliments. looks great paired with flats or a really cute pump. a must have

I saw this dress in one of the stores (from a return, I guess) and picked it up. Unfortunately, it runs very small (about a whole size small). I am also not sure about the pleats in the front; they can really accentuate any belly you may have. It's definitely a dress for slim women.

I am with the other reviewer that I LOVE anything from the 40s and 50s era. I used to love Isaac M's line with Target because all his dresses were very retro inspired. When I saw this dress I had to have it. It has a cute 50s vintage feel and look to it, and the skirt part flows nicely. Downfall is it's pretty much just a "party" dress, being a polyester material with a sheen. I woulnd't wear this to a normal dinner unless it was an upscale place, etc. Would be great for weddings or anything to that liking. I swing dance, so this was the perfect swing dance dress. It does make that "swishing" noise when you walk or dance. I pair mine with a cute cardigan and maryjane heels for a 50s inspired look!

Pros: I love anything vintage inspired and am a huge fan of the 40's era because of the glamorous clothing and I love the chic elegance of this dress. It's very jackie O and extremely figure flattering for women (like moi) who are pear shaped.

The belt defines a small waist nicely and the full skirt hides anything you want to pull a Houdini act on :)It falls right to above the knee on me and I am 5'6 with very long legs.

the color is lovely. The fabric is "taffetta" (polyester blend) and for a party dress it's nice. I purchased it for work because I work in a very "old school" conservative financial office as a receptionist and my wardrobe is always under scrutiny. For me it works due to the atmosphere here, but the stiff swishness of the fabric (LOUD when you walk!) might be a little much for most work spaces.

CONS: Neckline-Its a boat neck but such a high one that sometimes I feel claustrophobic. The fabric is very stiff so sometimes it jumps up and bites me. A slightly lower neckline would be wonderful.

I would also LOVE to see this style of dress in more work friendly fabrics like cotton or cotton sateen.
