I bought this bag to carry my small laptop as well as binders and other paperwork for teaching. I really loved the bag at first because there is a lot of room in it and it didn't seem too heavy. After about a month however, the material on the handles started cracking and now you can see the inner stitching where the handles bend. It seems like they could just break at any minutes. Also, I guess depending on how much weight and how you carry it in the bag it can kind of warp it so when I have lighter items in the bag it falls over to one side because of that.

I bought this bag for my Mother as a gift and she loves it, but I was dissapointed with the stitch work, it looks kind of cheap. The zipper on the inside make up bag broke and the bag just seems like it doesn't retain it's shape, it looks worn already. It was fine for my Mom because she doesn't notice those things on bags and purses, but I notice them so I was expecting more from this bag for the price I paid. I think it's good for people that don't have a lot of things to carry with them, but I wouldn't use it for books or anything too heavy.

I bought this bag because I needed a bag that would hold a laptop and notebook. This bag was great and it had a place for me to neatly hold everything. But the straps cracked in several places, I only had the bag several months. I thought this bag would be more sturdy because of the thick straps but it wasn't.

I loved the way this bag looked when I first got it, but after 2 months, the straps began cracking and only 6 months after I bought it, one of the straps broke completely. This shouldn't be billed as a work tote if it can't stand up to the small notebooks/pens/etc. I put in it. It also comes with a laptop pocket, but I doubt that it's strong enough to carry a normal-sized laptop for more than a few weeks straight.

I used this bag as a "trial" for about a week to see if I liked it. It's a beautiful bag and it held all of my work items wonderfully. (huge 3 ring binder, numerous full sized note pads, my coffemate canister and mug and 4 or 5 bridal magazines.) The problem is, I'm barely 5'2 and it so overpowered me! I hated to do it, but I returned the item. Otherwise, the bag seemed very sturdy and I loved the inside pockets,zippers and keyring.

I have this bag in brown. I loved it initially, but a few months into using it, the front handles cracked where they usually bend. I have other bags from Target which have lasted me a few years and so I was very disappointed in its durability but I still use the bag for work.
