This blender does what a blender's supposed to do

I've had it only a week, but I've used it every day and this blender does what it's supposed to do--blend ice, other solid items (frozen fruit) and soft items and liquids effortlessly.
I also appreciate that it has a minimum number of parts and no rubber gasket to lose. Very easy to take apart, clean and reassemble.
P.S. A year and a half later, still very happy with this blender.

Just recently, I started cooking from a cookbook. I tried a couple of basic recipes, mostly soups. But one of the recipes called for puree with a food processor and I thought... I don't have one. In comes the Michael Graves Blender. I though hmmm... I'll try it. So I pour my content in and look at the buttons... Sure enough it has a puree button... cool! So I proceed to make my soup ( Smoky Black-Bean) and the results are perfect! No problems what so ever. So far I've made dozens of soups that called for puree from Broccoli-Cheese to Potato and Leek Soup and the results have been spectacular! Mind you I'm still a rookie at cooking. But with results like this and the Michael Graves Blender... I might be willing to try other recipes.

Living at the beach, one must have a blender for Margaritas and other frozen drinks. The blades crush the ice so well that after my last party, three couples went to Target and purchased this blender because they said the Margaritas were better than they'd ever had at any restaurant due to their perfectly smooth consistency. Bonuses: affordable price, large capacity, glass jar, a million speeds, and easy to clean. It blends with stainless steel appliances well, too.

I first bought a popular brand-name blender, but after doing some research, I took it back unopened and exchanged it for this blender. I am SO GLAD I did! I have been making health smoothies on a regular basis since I bought this blender, and this blender has been handling it like a PRO. After placing all the ingredients into the jar and varying between pressing the ice breaker, smoothie and icy drink buttons a few times, the Wave Action kicks in and BOOM! I got my health smoothie!
I HIGHLY recommend this blender to everyone who likes to make smoothies, milkshakes, soups, margaritas, etc. It's cost friendly, looks great, easy to clean and put back together and works extremely well. If you don't have it, GET IT NOW! :)

I first purchased a Black and Decker blender from Target a couple of weeks ago. When I brought it home, however, I somehow grew skeptical that it would work, did some more research about the best blenders via the internet and decided to exchange the Black and Decker blender for the Michael Graves Hamilton Beach blender.
I absolutely LOVE this blender! It seems to blend almost ANYTHING to near perfection. My husband threw together a strawberry-banana smoothie earlier this week and the blender whipped it up without problem! Just this morning, I made the Jackie Warner Skylab Shake with NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! I bought it with a couple of gift cards given to me for X-mas, and this is absolutely one of the favorite gifts I gave to myself! If you like to make smoothies, milkshakes, soups or whatever else requires blending on a regular basis, GET THIS ONE AND GET IT NOW!

I just bought this blender today, and so far, I'm very pleased! It crushes ice effortlessly and quickly and leaves a smooth consistency which will be great when making smoothies and such. And it mashes fruits and veggies for baby food in mere seconds. There are lots of speed options to choose from and with 700 watts at peak power, it is loud, but what would you expect? I highly recommend this blender!

I bought this blender in a Target store a few weeks ago, and I've been using it every day since then. It has performed beautifully. I make a smoothie every morning and it hasn't failed me yet. It is a little loud, but it works so well that I don't have to blend for very long. Also, it doesn't have a ton of parts so it's easy to wash and put back together. Compared to the Oster blender I used to have, I'd day this one is superior.

Stopped working after 5 months

My husband and I bought this blender after our Oster blender broke, it seemed to have great reviews. We used this to make our morning frozen fruit smoothies and the blender worked fine as long as we had enough liquid in the jar, otherwise the fruit would not blend properly. After 5 months the blender completely stopped working and the motor burned out. I wouldn't recommend this one for regular smoothie drinkers, get one of higher quality.
